I wanted Greek and this place had a good star rating. Now that I am rating it, I am actually looking at the reviews and see that the ratings are all over the map. I have no idea why someone would give this restaurant a high rating. The food was not great. The rice was oily, the chicken was very salty and the calamari was the worst I have ever had. The prices were not cheap! I think I would have been better off getting Greek from the mall food court. Not to mention their pita was more like a bun, I have never seen a bun pita like that before. The restaurant is very outdated and, if I had not ordered take out, I would have left after walking in. The one positive was that the staff that I dealt with was very friendly and nice. I sort of assumed the food would be great because the place looked like it had been there for many years (and not changed at all). But, it was not. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Went to minos because I wanted to try it cause I haven’t been there in years chicken souvlaki and ribs were spicy, dry, rice had no flavour. Shrimp tasted like dirt. The potato had no flavor. Greek salad had absolutely no sauce and the Caesar salad tasted like I was eating mayonnaise. Would never recommend to go there to anyone will not be going back. Expensive and disappointing

Recently headed over to try Minos for dinner rather than our usual spot. It was a Saturday evening so we thought it would be busy, but oddly was not. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our prefer were taken shortly after. We ordered the ribs and souvlaki combo dinner. Food came quickly. The ribs were delicious! The souvlaki was yummy as well. Decent portion size - enough to share (a good thing as it was $44). Overall a great meal, we will return.

Disappointed in our experience tonight. We ordered the same dinner a couple months ago and it was $30 cheaper… that’s insane. The prawn dinner went from under $20 to over $30… that’s an insane. I feel like they should say the total over the phone or advise that the prices were updated as of March or something so people can rethink their options. Unfortunately with such an insane increase we won’t be able to afford to eat here any more. Not to mention the food actually taste worst since last time, not a single veggie in the rice and the rice was tasteless. Prawns tasted too peppery, pita was hard, caesar salad was not good at all and the food was cold when we got home after a 10min drive.

Minos Greek in Kamloops has always treated us like family. Every time we dine there, we’re reminded why it’s our go-to spot for incredible, authentic Greek food. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and there’s clearly so much thought and care in every dish.

There might be other Greek restaurants in town, but honestly, they’re not even a consideration for us. Minos sets the bar — not just for Greek food, but for hospitality. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and great service ! Thank you

Sometimes it's good, sometimes the ribs are dry and the tomatoes in Greek salad is soggy or watery, and I feel they forgot to put the dressing on😶

The waitress is always very upbeat and friendly

I had driven by Minos many times, but never went as they are only open for dinner. This time I made a point of going, and was I glad I did! The food was plentiful and so good. I had the spanakopita appetizer, and the Prawn dinner. The service was great, and quick. The atmosphere, was just what you would expect at a Greek restaurant. I would recommend anything, they have to offer.
Thank you Minos, I will be back!

The BEST authentic Greek restaurant in Kamloops! Real Greek Chef in the kitchen. I like my calamari with bodies and tentacles. They are Krispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Their Greek salad is always fresh and garnished with feta cheese. Tonight I ordered the roast lamb dinner and I have enough to take for lunch the next day!
