Great spot for lunch, dinner or just for drinks! Fries are amazing along with the rest of the food here. The atmosphere is great. Also a bonus that they're LGBTQ+ friendly and they have vegan options. I had the Healthy Smash, was surprised by how thin the patty was, but it was actually perfect. Partner had Veggie which was quite tasty. Only downside was the wasps out on the patio, but that's an issue pretty much everywhere. Wish the menu was slightly bigger, kike had tacos or even pizza, but me and my partner were impressed! Definitely going back!

Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday.I had a Cheeseburger and fries. Fries were nice but burger lacking for my standards especially for the price one pays today. Beef patty extremely thin and cheese looked like it was melted and a thin layer brushed on. A thin bun but was thick in comparison to the fillings . No pickle or lettuce no tomato and could not see the onions if they were there and could not find any usual mustard relish or ketchup. There was some kind of a sauce so it was moist and not dry. Wont buy burger again but would buy the fries.

Food and drinks took a long time, once they came the fries where not great and all 6 of our bacon cheese burgers only had half of one strip of bacon, hardly enough to cover 1/4 of the burger. The drinks where good however. I felt that $125 tip included was ALOT for 2 burgers with fries and 2 drinks

The first time we visited Kaslo, we thought we'd check out this place. A waitress at the front of the restaurant said, "Just go out to the patio and find somewhere to sit." She did not say anything on the flip sign on the table until we asked for service as we sat there for 20 minutes before going to the front and asking. Once we ordered food and beverage without utensils again, we found some in a corner and grabbed condiments. Our waitress gave us no service at all while we finished our dinner WITH FLAG UP 45 MINS waiting on something to drink !Which the food was not the best to be honest. The only thing I knew about her was the lemon tattoo on her right forearm, Usually waitress would mentioned there names.

They lack interpersonal skills and struggle with customer service. Basic amenities like water and napkins for dine-in are only provided upon request. The server showed no inclination to do the work. The food isn't great either. Bring your own water and napkin, assemble your own tacos, and pay at the end. Lol

Food was good but drink service was confusingly slow… both times we were here our two drinks took about 15 minutes to come which is a first for a brewery. Hopefully was just an off day, cute patio!

Disappointing experience with the service. Food order was never put into the kitchen and our table was neglected. Will not return.
Went here twice in two days in july 2024. the first time, the food was cooked and delivered before we got 2 beers delivered to us (about 15 minutes). i don't know how the bar staff couldn't pour two beers before the kitchen pushed out 4 tacos and chips/guac. the food was really good. the second time i went in and sat down for 15 minutes with the ready to order sign they give you flipped up. nobody took my order and i left. the food and kitchen staff are great and came and talked to us the first night and asked how the food/experience was. the bar staff was probably the worst i've ever seen.

Went to the Hen for a beer. Was told to sit outside and someone will be with you. Waited 5 minutes, then someone came and l ordered a beer. Waited another 5 minutes and went inside to ask about my beer. Oh we have your order, we are backed up. Never had to wait for a beer at a brewery and I’ve done many! Never go there again when in Kaslo.

Food is ok. Same as any other brewery I guess. Service sucks. Ordered my beer and a burger. Waitress seems preoccupied with her own life and has poor people skills. The cook brought out the food because she forgot (I can only imagine), no cutlery, no condiments, not once she asked if everything is ok or if I needed anything (and she keeps walking around me). Absolute disaster.
