“Stopped in early one morning when passing through and was delighted to be served excellent coffee, croissant, bliss ball - all with warm, friendly service. Highly recommend!”
“This store is one of the (many reasons) why I will never have to miss living in Vancouver. Such a great selection of natural foods, bulk items, and special ingredients and products. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Aptly named shop!”
“The food here was great and the servings were rather large, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I went with my boyfriend, so I ended up trying four different foods (two different sides and two different mains).Though certainly not bad, I wasn't that impressed by the burger, as it seemed it had too many flavours and they didn't really compliment each other, but someone else could definitely feel differently about that. Everything else however, was amazing, and it was really neat that there were so many different types of foods available, with such good side dishes!I realized that they closed at 3 after already ordering, so when it was already nearing that time when we arrived, I felt rather bad that we were cutting it so close to their closing time. That being said, while we did leave very shortly before 3 nonetheless, none of the staff were in a bad mood or even beginning to rush us to finish our meal (though I would have understood if they had). I found this really nice and it definitely contributed to the positive environment they had created.”
“Fabulous people, service, and pizza. Super friendly owners and staff. Their Pizza is up to New York Pizza standards. Spinach salad is fantastic! This is our first time to Kaslo, and we'll be neck to Buddy's next time we're here.”
“Looking forward to get back here to try their ube latte and carrot cake. Mocha is really good and so as the pastry display. Miso bread is really good, I really enjoy it!”
“Sadly no "fancy coffee" today as machine was broken. Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Quaint, home-y vibe with outside seating and a museum on site that you can visit by donation.”
“A great place to stop by and have a beer and relax on the patio, or enjoy some nachos and watch some poker. Good draft beer selection and attentive service. A great view of Kootenay lake.*I cannot comment on the rooms as we only stopped by for food and drinkNearby activities: A slight walk to the SS Moyie museum”
“Always fresh, the poutine here is a MUST TRY! And the gravy is gluten free :) I always stop in when passing through Kaslo.Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free gravy is 10/10”
“Very friendly service with excellent coffee. Locally roasted coffee with plenty of options for a hot summer's day. The iced Americanos and lemon chai were excellent and the service was very friendly. We will definitely be returning.”
