“We had lunch twice here and every time it was a wonderful experience, can only highly recommend this place. Food: authentic Cantonese cuisine. We had noodles with chicken and mushrooms, lemon chicken, and ginger beef. The food was fresh, crispy veggies, meat melting in your mouth. The portions are quite generous and the prices are lower in comparison to other restaurants in the area. The owner is attentive and very kind, she even brought water for our puppy (we were sitting outdoors on the shaded deck). The service is fast and very thoughtful, they would check on us few times while we were having lunch just in case we needed smth else. This place exceeded our expectations. Clean (the bathrooms are spotless too), warm, personal. One of the BEST restaurants in Kootenay. The food is 10 out of 10!!!”

“THE BEST BAKERY IN BALFOUR!!!

I was about to take the ferry, I saw this place, got curious, walked in, bought a fresh loaf, very friendly lady at the counter. Got home later that night, I just had to try that bread, sure enough, absolute perfection!

I highly recommend buying either a pastry, or loaf here if you ever stop through or are waiting for the ferry. Im genuinely so impressed I just had to write a review!
