Love this place. We've stopped by on our way through a few times. The mochas are the best we've ever had because they're not super sweet. They must use real cocoa or dark chocolate or something. And the lavender london fogs are dreamy!

The atmosphere at the bluebelle feels coming home. It's got a warm kootenay vibe with plants, wood features, an contemporary feel featuring local art and artisans. The food is amazing. They have a small menu which allows them to do everything very well.
My most recent visit I tried the bao breakfast bun which is more of a breakfast sandwich. The flavor was so complex and enjoyable. Perfection. Upon recommendation I was served a beautiful paired beverage called the thai fighter. Shout out to Louisa, the chef, in particular who arranged that as it was delicious and unique. They make a rim garnish in house which i've never had anything like! Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. It would also taste pretty good with some tequila in my opinion.

Really cute café with a cozy atmosphere and a small section selling artisanal goods — a nice touch. The menu had a great variety, and our server was super friendly. She let us know they closed at 3 but made a point to reassure us we were welcome to stay and weren’t being rushed, which we really appreciated.
The food was excellent. The breakfast bao was fresh and full of flavor, and the rice bowl was surprisingly packed with bold, well-balanced flavors. Would definitely come back!
