The Kalso Hotel had friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. I was particularly fond of the old school furniture but it was also nice that the bathrooms were updated. The balcony was great, the city views were great, and we had great service while eating at the restaurant in the hotel. Overall I enjoyed staying at Kaslo Hotel, and out of the three places we visited in BC on our trip, this was the best hotel as well as the best city/town.

We stayed here for a couple nights Aug 2024.
WHAT A VIEW! Some things just need to be shouted about ?
Once you pull yourself from the view you will find a large clean comfortable room. Ours had 2 queens, a large bathroom and the balcony deck overlooking the lake.

Ainsworth HotSprings

Walkability: You can walk to restaurants shops etc easily

Food & drinks: The Waypoint restaurant in the hotel is impeccable. Everything the entire family ordered was delicious. Routed our vacation back through Kaslo to stay at the hotel again, and of course catch another great meal. The kitchen really has it dialed in. Serving staff was incredible. The view is hard to beat. May have to move to Kaslo.

While I’ve been to Kaslo many times this was my first time staying at the Kaslo Hotel and I will be back. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean with comfy beds and the hot tub to use by reservation is a great perk. The restaurant had great food and service (this has always been the case), I always stop in for dinner when in Kaslo. Thanks for the great stay!

Hotel gives that step back in time but modern ,beatiful room just missing decent closet or dresser if was gonna be there for a longer stay as end tables are limited , otherwise great spot on mainstreet, parking , licenced restuarant on premises with great food ,libations all with views , definently be back again .

Great hotel that is on the main street. Room was clean and lots of space. Carpet was a little dirty but nothing gross. Nice bathroom looks like fairly recently updated. Only fun part is toilet hides behind the door. There is a step stool to get into the bed, but not really needed, make sure to move it out of the way unless you want to break a toe in the middle of the night. Front Desk concierge, Jordan, was super attentive and great to deal with. Nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Can be a bit noisy on streetside.

Rooms: Again nice rooms, and spacious, just move the bed stool.

Nearby activities: Lots of activities nearby, public beach, shopping, dining and the SS Moyie

Walkability: Easy walking distance to most everything.

Food & drinks: Restaurant/Bar downstairs in the hotel, also plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel was fantastic. Our room was enormous. The private hot tub with the views of surrounding mountains was a great perk. Our room had private access to the 2nd. floor porch overlooking the town. We sat and enjoyed the evening playing cards with great friends. The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious, and worth the wait. I had the Blackened Salmon that was served perfectly over a bed of rice. My wife ate the Chicken Alfreado and our friends had the Fish & Chips, and a hugh beef dip sandwich. The beer was cold and the drinks were perfect The patio seating with the view of the lake was fabulous.

This hotel has beautiful lakefront rooms. All amenities are wonderful. People are great and helpful. Restaurant and bar is amazing. All the shopping and food is right there in the neighborhood. The beach is very close. This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Kaslo. ?

Noteworthy details: During the summer months there is a farmers market right next door!
