Great food and service,
A picturesque hotel in beautiful Kaslo with friendly staff, a nicely renovated room, and a cute pub/restaurant setting overlooking the lake.
I stayed here a few years ago, and was great, that's all I got for the hotel, sorry.
Now the restaurant is another matter. We often go for dinner here and Tonight was the first in a while, the service was attentive and friendly as usual. The food was Outstanding, The son was very satisfied with the crispy Bird sandwich, The wife was very impressed with the chicken chorizo Alfredo, The mother-in-law's husband had steak and fries. All said it was great. My mother in law had a house salad and beef dip, she is celiac, the restaurant was very attentive to her needs and it was also fantastic. Now, I had the 2 piece halibut
and fries, I have no issues declaring this as some of the best fish & Chips I have had, crispy light batter and still moist fish!! And I have sampled many. Very good food and experience. Especially when you can hear the bartender shaking real drinks in the background.
We ate at the restaurant here and it was oh so tasty but, most memorable was the incredible service we had from server ‘Lex’. She was incredible at her job and had such a great personality — very refreshing to be served by someone so genuine. Had my partner and my mother in law here all the way from New Zealand and she reckoned this has been the best service she’s had so far across all of BC! Thank you, Lex!! Keep up the hard work!!
Stopped for lunch, food was great, service was great!
Beautiful hotel and very biker friendly
Hands down one of the best places to stay!
The staff are amazing!! Especially the front desk crew! They were amazing.
My family loved staying here. Beds are great and the rooms are spacious. Would definitely be coming back!
Stunning view from the room.
I just spent great evening in Kaslo. Drove up with my father visiting and friends from Edm. Jace…crushed it. It’s a must and the only stop if you find yourself in Kaslo. (Especially if the angry hen is closed on Tuesday)
Very nice place to stay and within walking distance of at least 3 eateries. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and very reasonable!
The room was spacious, beautiful and reasonably priced! There was a large balcony facing the lake with a table and 4 chairs. The food in the restaurant is absolutely top notch too. I will definitely be returning!

A quiet, clean well appointed room. The staff were friendly and service oriented. The hotel is at the centre of town and is within easy walking to attractions and eating establishments.
We would stay here again!
Fabulous property and restaurant! Incredible staff!...Exceptional kitchen! Beautiful views! Cannot wait for our next visit!
We were wow’ed! No better way to put it. The Kaslo Hotel delivered on every front. Liz, the front desk agent, greeted us with a beaming smile and the kind of thoughtful hospitality that instantly sets the tone for your stay. Our room? Absolutely darling. Impeccably clean, beautifully styled, and framed by a jaw-dropping view. The hot tub was the perfect bonus after a day of exploring. And our experience at The Waypoint? First-class, from the friendly service to the classic pub-fare done impeccably. The place was buzzing with locals for wing night and we could immediately see why. Five stars, all day long.
Beautiful views and a great historic hotel
lunch in the restaurant.and continued on our way. Awesome fish and chips really worth a try.
