A must visit place in Kaslo. The place is has so much history in it. The lady serving guests is wonderful, and everything is tasty.

I came in just after they opened and was welcomed with warm cinnamon buns. Worth trying if you’re here to visit, just remember it’s cash only!

Best little coffee shop in Kaslo. Very local atmosphere. It is a one person operation as far as I could tell. Don’t be in a rush and just soak up the laid back vibe. Hit up the museum if you have time.

Good food in unique teashop that doubles as museum. I had a lovely pannini and the cakes also looked great. They are cash only and I only had my phone to pay with but one of the kind locals kindly paid for me. Lovely place and lovely atmosphere in the town.

I think I met the mayor here. In front of the counter there's the town living room with citizens from all sorts of the community, discussing current, past en future topics. While Teresa makes the sandwiches behind the counter and pours the coffees.
Do not be confused when you walk in, the place looks like a museum crossover with grandmas living room. And do not let the town meeting discourage you to walk in, you are just as welcome as the lot.

This was the only place open on a holiday and the owner was adorable. They're all in their 80s, up early drinking coffee hanging out together so eclectic. Full of antiques. (Cash only)

What a great little coffee place.
Stopped in on our travels, had a breakfast sandwich and cinnamon bun. Both were amazing.
The lady/owner was very friendly and I would recommend to stop in if you are in the area.
