Sadly no "fancy coffee" today as machine was broken. Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Quaint, home-y vibe with outside seating and a museum on site that you can visit by donation.

Amazing breakfast sandwich. Get it with the onion!

A cute little place with excellent baking - we had both the pie (with ice cream) and an apple turnover, as well as drinks. If we were staying longer in the area we would have definitely returned!

They do not keep their hours updated. It is also cash only so if you have to use a corporate credit card for work you can't eat here.

Perfect Esspresso!

Not this location but the other island farms ice cream shop, the smaller one around the corner. The Lil lady in the blue dress was a treat herself. She double stuffed my cone, but I'd like to fully stuff her?. She was checking out my hand tattoo. Nevertheless the service was good and the sherbet was awesome. Ps I left my phone number ;) with a lame excuse

Never open when it says it is. Just as unreliable as every eatery in Kaslo. My advice is don’t eat in Kaslo period.

The sandwiches are the best! Bread is made fresh daily. There’s also various baked items (cookies, muffins, cinnamon buns) which are all excellent.

Cash only is a bit of nuisance. But cute and good coffee.

Fun place to visit, mini museum downstairs. Lots of mining history!

Very small town feel and conventional home made food, fresh and local.

Hands down the best fresh made sandwiches anywhere. I spend summers in Kaslo and this is my favourite lunch spot. There's no question it's a local joint: the decor is modest, and the atmosphere slow and easy. I've read people complain about walking in and being stared at, but those reviewers just need to nod and say hello. It's a tiny town with a laid back vibe. End of story. Loved this place from the first bite.

Got a sausage roll and a slice of apple pie. The sausage roll was cold, she didn't serve with heating it up. But the taste was decent. The apple pie was pretty sour and the filling was so runny. It didn't taste fresh at all. Absolutely would not recommend the apple pie. Cash only. Service is ok, not the friendliest.
