We thoroughly enjoyed our splurge for dinner here. Our party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) got to sample nearly the entire tasting menu (the only thing we didn't have was the cheese board dessert) and everything was amazing. Service was friendly and I liked that we had enough space between courses not to feel rushed. We had a reservation but didn't plan this visit until we were already at the mountain. So we didn't have anything "fancy" to wear, but we felt totally comfortable in our regular clothes. We would recommend this if you are looking for a special night out.

We went to eat the 3 course menu on a Saturday night. Originally we booked the 6 course Sunday night, but the day before they let us know they can’t accommodate us anymore, which was disappointing and a real shame. However, we still went for the three course, as we wanted to try the restaurant.
Service: the hostess was lovely, but our waitress was a bit slow and we didn’t get a lot of personal care. It took her 15 mins to get our order (the menu is set, it’s not like you need that much time to browse), we had to ask for a drinks menu and remind them about our ordered drinks.
Furthermore, just so you know, the meals are slow to come out, as we were there for over two and a half hours for three courses.
Food: honestly, I was underwhelmed. The starter, sourdough and butter, was delicious. For meat eaters there is an amuse bouche but there are no alternatives for non-meat eaters. For our appetizers, we had the beef tartare (excellent) and the beetroot, which was nice. For our mains, we had the risotto (nice again) and the salmon, which was disappointing. It was dry and a bit sad. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse and Pate a Choux. The chocolate mousse was not mousse at all, but served on a dry piece of cake. Truly disappointing. The choux was nice but extremely sweet. The lovely hostess got us the cheese board instead, which we appreciated, but it was also average.
The highlights were the drinks and the bread. Overall, would not recommend or go again.

We attempted to go into the restaurant for dinner. We happened to be walking by and thought oh we should pop in here it looks nice. We went in and were told they need to check to see if they can accommodate us. They came back and said they could. They then asked us if we wanted champagne. We said no, they said it was complimentary. We were then asked if we had ever been to the restaurant before or knew anything about it. We said no. They showed us to our seats and then began to explain that the menu is a 3 course set menu and what the options were. The waitress returned and I asked her what the pricing of the menu was as it was no listed on the menu anywhere. She replied $120.00 each. We said we would be leaving as we didn't know this and were not looking to spend that much on a dinner. She said that she had to check if we were allowed to leave without paying for the complimentary champagne. She came back and said she had to charge us for it. In respect of the other guests in a small restaurant I made the decision to not dispute this but to just pay it and leave. While leaving we let the hostesses know that they should inform people of the menu options and that the champagne is not actually free, only if you pay for an overpriced meal. 3 of the 4 of us don't even drink champagne but they insisted because it was free. So we took it. I accept that we took the drink and that it is of course only free for people sitting and eating. This makes sense. But to charge us $20 per glass for the champagne was a little much. It should have been something that could have easily been resolved by saying the champagne is usually $20 each but we did it at cost because of the miscommunication. This way everyone is satisfied from the restaurant not losing money just recouping their costs. We eat on the mountain a lot but because of the lack of care I can promise we would not go back to a place that has zero care for the customer.

We had the Sunday night six course, wine paired Degustation, and it didn’t disappoint! Every course was incredibly delicious, and perfectly paired with the wines. The food made the wine taste better, and the wine made the food taste better, if that’s even possible! The service was wonderful as well, and it’s so impressive that they are able to serve the courses to everyone at the same time! Six Degrees is an experience in itself, and shouldn’t be missed while at Big White!

6 Degrees is our favourite restaurant at Big White. The food, service and atmosphere are consistently outstanding. Last night's meal was exceptional, thanks to Ana, Chef Alessa and the serving staff. Thank you!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday evening 6 course dinner and wine pairing. The food and it's presentation was amazing. All 6 courses were a culinary adventure and the chef knocked it out of the park. To top it off, the guest sommelier provided great stories about each winery. Overall the night was a 10/10!

I am incredibly disappointed. We walked in and asked to have a table and it took six waitresses to decide if we could sit down. Not once did anyone mention that the restaurant has a set menus. They gave us “complimentary “ champagne which no one drank and when we finally saw the menus and asked he price ($120), we told them we would not be staying and were Ben charged $75 for the Champaign that we had to drink. What a joke. Not one of the six waitresses thought to mention anything. Won’t be back, too bad because it looks like a beautiful restaurant.
My wife and I stopped by after a day on the slopes for a bite to eat. We shared the fondue and charcuterie board with some drinks. Wow, were we blown away! Some of the best tasting fondue we have had with a great spread of items. The staff were kind and welcoming and were very attentive with service bringing drinks and filling water. We will definitely be frequenting for apres ski! Thank you

In February, we celebrated a significant family event at 6 Degrees. Right from the very start, the experience was amazing. Ana was incredible with the planning and throughout the event. Denver and his kitchen team provided extraordinary food. Taneeka and Tash worked tirelessly and gave exceptional service. Every single guest commented on how much they enjoyed the evening and how they wanted for nothing. Everyone at Six Degrees made it such a memorable occasion. Thank you sincerely from our entire family

We had a phenomenal dining experience at Six Degrees Bistro to close out our Big White March Break. The food is of the highest quality. We had a lovely 3 course meal. I personally had scallops to start followed by Beef Tenderloin and then a dark chocolate dessert. I would definitely return.
I had an exceptional dining experience at Six Degrees Bistro. The ambiance was enchanting, highlighted by a warm outdoor fireplace and inviting fur seating. The intimate setting allowed for personalized service, making us feel truly attended to. The set menu was a culinary delight, offering exquisite options for both meat and vegetarian preferences. The addition of their new signature cocktails added a perfect touch to an already remarkable meal. I highly recommend Six Degrees Bistro and look forward to returning many times. A definite 5-star gem!

Had a mediocre meal, with incredibly poor service. Although we sent the fish course back, as the fish tasted like it had gone bad, we were still charged the full price. When we expressed surprise, the server was very rude and dismissive. In my experience, service should be impeccable at a place serving prix fix at the rates demanded by Six Degrees - but she behaved like waitress at a cheap diner. Wine selection (by the glass) is very limited. Atmosphere is nice and warm but the sound is so loud in the room that it is difficult to hear others at your table. Definitely disappointing.
