You don’t need a server come checkin you out everytime you have a bite. Don’t get me started with the sashimi… probably the best in town! Their ramen… is to die for!!! “Usually this location is good but when I went in the afternoon today it wasn’t even that busy and the person working at the window was rushing us away and was pushing our food out the window faster than we could grab it. Not even making sure we had it before pushing more at us. And when i got home my box of 10 timbits only had 9. Which is ridiculous that someone who can’t even count to ten is working at a job that requires it, or is too rushed even when the location is less busy than usual to pay enough attention. Being shorted one timbit isn’t worth complaining to them to get my extra timbit, but it’s so annoying that i was given less than I paid for. The food quality was mostly good. The timbits were good and the chili was good. The bread for chili was stale though.”

“My mom is a regular customer to Abaco Health and when I come to visit her, I always make a trip in too. Both my mom and I have been helped by Gabby who is incredibly knowledgeable and will take the time to hear your concerns, offer various options for supplement support. Gabby has helped not only my mom with her concerns, but helped my mom find support for my dad who was in early stages of Alzheimer's before he died. She has helped me with my liver and adrenal concerns and my twin sons with ADHD, autism and anxiety supplement support. It is so nice to feel that someone really listens rather than just tries to "sell" you something. Thank you, Gabby!”

I want to boost this place but also it's so good, I don't. It's small, there aren't many seats, it's quiet and feels like a secret. This isn't a study spot to abuse the owners' outlets and wifi or a place where you trip over strollers and a kid's corner. This is a small escape for damn good coffee and quiet.”

We moved to the complete opposite side of Kelowna and still drive across the city once a week because, we just can’t get enough ! We talk about this place every day. Plus everyone who works here is so so friendly. Our go to meal every time is the DB flatbread, the brisket Mac and cheese, and sometimes the pretzel cheese dip or Perogies. Super affordable, our bill is never more than $65 (amazing in this city) We are a little sad recently as they changed the DB recipe. Don’t know if we will be coming back as often now because of this because we stick to what we really like. The flavours of the old DB was a lot better in our opinion. But we will still rave about this place to others ! (You should bring the old one back though haha)”

“The greatest brewery/restaurant in Kelowna. Copper brewing was already our favourite brewery in Kelowna with the best beer in town but now we cannot rave enough about this place! We booked Copper Brewing for an event and they provided us the best experience imaginable and went above and beyond for us. They were consistently asking how to make the night better for us and went the extra mile to make sure our night went exactly how we wanted. Thank you to Kevin and Alisha who provided the bar/server service, they did an outstanding job, were very friendly, and did their best to make sure we were all having a great time. They made drink suggestions, asked what kind of music we wanted playing, and offered to help decorate. They are phenomenal employees. “We visited today for lunch and had great service! We were seated right away and we promptly ordered drinks and received fresh warm bread. We all had the steak sandwich and when one of them wasn’t cooked to our liking they took it back to make it right. When we received the new steak it still wasn’t cooked right, the server Bryan checked in and noticed it immediately and told us he’d take it off our bill as the rest of us were done eating, he offered us a free dessert and when we declined he surprised us with $25 off our next visit. It had a nice balance of flavours, topped with pomegranate seeds. The lamb was tasty, albeit slightly inconsistent (of the 3 chops on my plate, some were more tender than others). I also tried their Okanagan Hot Chocolate Festival feature, which was South American inspired with a little spice (and served with some mozza cheese!). Service was friendly and the edible flowers on the plates were a vibrant touch. It was a creative and tasty meal, especially for the price point.”

“We came in on a Friday night and the greater was chatting us up with movie suggestions and complements. We had a wait time of 45 minutes but they got us in in 30. We sat down at a whole booth for just 2 people looking at the water and had a great night. Our server was super kind and down to earth even with our complicated orders and our food came super fast. Every bite was delicious and I ate the whole thing. To top it off our server said we were so kind and as a thank you brought out 2 free desserts that were wonderful. I can honestly say that our service made my night and I would totally recommend earls to anyone looking for a great night out with friendly people and great hospitality. Thank you earls staff!”

“I can't speak to some of the criticisms but I just spent three weeks in Kelowna's North End recertifying my base paramedic level and found this coffee place on Richter. It hit all the right notes. A small,, simple, unpretentious set up in a working neighbourhood with great staff who knew how to make my favourite coffee (a double long espresso run through there times) at a great price. Next time I am town I will go there again and have already told a few folks. And for the record, I tried several trendy places downtown and they all paled in comparison.”

“we have enjoyed going to tonics. usually good , today had a beef snd dime wings and paid the bill. but the waitress noticed no tip and asked why then said the company will take a share out of her wages for no tip. I have never had a waitress so bold to ask for a tip as if it was mandatory and she deserved more for doing her job. I then told her I usually tip in cash but NOT today. as you basically demanded a tip. Many people work for minimum wage much harder then her and do not or are not allowed tips. and are much more grateful and less arrogant . Tips are optional not expected or demanded by a waitress at the pub.”

“Literally SO good. I visited Canada last November and did some shopping at the mall, which is when I first tried this place. My boyfriend and I proceeded to loop back around two more times to get more. We were in Kelowna again last week, and stopped by the mall specifically to go by Mr. Pretzels. Now it’s one of our spots.”

“Finally some delicious Chinese food in Kelowna with good vegan (and also non-vegan) options. LVS Restaurant in the Landmark complex. Everything we had was flavourful, fresh and delicious. Best Buddha’s feast I’ve had in decades, and the Shanghai noodles are also excellent. The spring roll was decent. The eggplant was tasty though extremely spicy. Also, no MSG (if there was I would have reacted to the food). Service is friendly. They accommodate allergies. Food is always very hot. Highly recommend! Not bland or oily like every other place we’ve tried in Kelowna. Update: We ordered again and this time asked for the eggplant dish to be less spicy (which they did) and it was fantastic!”

The service was great and our server both was well informed about menu and drink selection but had just the right amount of check ins that it was not disruptive to our dinner experience. She made allowances for my hearing disability and had a clear and vocal ability that makes it easier for me. The menu offers a great variety of gluten free options and was able to really enjoy a fish and chips meal. Would recommend place for date night or get-together with friends and family.”

“We went to Canadian Brewhouse this last Sunday for lunch. We had just walked out of Pretty Not Bad after waiting for 40 minutes for someone to take our order. We’re feeling bad we didn’t just go here in the first place. We had drinks on the table and our order taken within 15 minutes. The food was quick and delicious and lots of it! Our server was excellent, checking on our food and drinks at appropriate times. Quite simply, we have been here before and will be back again!”

Our first one at Kelowna, and the atmosphere is very welcoming, especially for family and those with children.The food tastes so good, and they have lots of variety here, including crabs, shrimp, pork, and sauce. The service was also very great, and the children loved the dessert options available including the ice cream, cakes, puddings and others.”

“May have to say the atmosphere wasn't bad at all. But their female servers never give me any smiles and they look cold, genuinely a few of them look like they dont want to work there. The male servers, however, they were pretty friendly (at least this is what I got). Food ain't too bad, I had a shrimp fried rice it slaps, their salmon sushi ain't bad too, but there were just too much rice and I cannot taste any salmon but vinegar rice, this is where it lost the 1 star for food. But their fried chicken and their tempura were just great though, they were coming in hot and fresh. I also had their Chinese beef (I don't really remember their names cuz I had all of em), most of them are just great. Tender and just great with a bowl of steamed rice. I went for lunch so I think the price was a-okay. It's a pass for me all in all if you don't mind the services.”

“I’m speaking about the Surrey Central restaurant. 1. Our party of 4 was served their hot food on on absolutely ice cold metal trays, these trays were so cold!!!- the only explanation I could think of is the metal trays were next to a wide open window or door- outside temp. was 0 degrees. The hot food was only a 1/2” of height in each of the trays ‘bowls’ so was lukewarm very quickly- the cold trays stayed cold throughout and made our meal uncomfortable for sure! 2. We were, I shudder to say, rudely served our food one tray at a time, a minute or so apart, on the only open spot on the table in front of one of our party, with the only announcement being what was served on that tray- no asking by the server who ordered the food item so the orders could be properly served. I had enough of this by the 4th tray and… 3.I raised my concerns to more or less speechless servers (they were going through their breaks) about the concerns, so an apology was never uttered by the servers. 4. The only moments when servers were somewhat interested in our party’s experience was when they’d ask how’s everything, ‘on the fly’ without ever stopping to give eye contact to anyone in our party! I’m not going to give our entire experience a negative rating only because the food flavour and freshness was excellent- but the above 4 items should be addressed- if not by the chef or maitre’d, then perhaps by the HR dept.”
“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and service was excellent. If you like a good wit beer, there in House beer is fantastic. Wish I could buy it separately but it's made specifically just for them. I highly recommend the Italian Burger I had. It was a chicken breast perfectly done with garlic and onion bruschetta, I'll be back for sure”
