“Finally some delicious Chinese food in Kelowna with good vegan (and also non-vegan) options. LVS Restaurant in the Landmark complex. Everything we had was flavourful, fresh and delicious. Best Buddha’s feast I’ve had in decades, and the Shanghai noodles are also excellent. The spring roll was decent. The eggplant was tasty though extremely spicy. Also, no MSG (if there was I would have reacted to the food). Service is friendly. They accommodate allergies. Food is always very hot. Highly recommend! Not bland or oily like every other place we’ve tried in Kelowna. Update: We ordered again and this time asked for the eggplant dish to be less spicy (which they did) and it was fantastic!“
“I was thrilled to discover this place in a little mall. Everything looked great and I loved my combo of sweet and sour pork, breaded shrimp, fried rice and mixed vegetables. I will return again and again. The people there were lovely and the food is very high quality.“

“Here is a jem of a Chinese food restaurant. Really good. Only take out here. You can call ahead for pickup or order there and wait to take out. Lots on the menu. Good choices. I usually order the dinner for 1. Chow mein, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Located on Gordon drive. Just before mission creek bridge, in a little strip mall. Close to the Canada Post store. My favorite Chinese food take out.“
“My husband and I brought our youngest out for a quiet Tuesday night dinner. We were blown away with the new menu at Dragon King. The flavours and new menu options were incredible!Bathrooms are very modern and clean, music and atmosphere- comfortable and relaxing. It was like a taste of modern Vancouver with the casual comfort of Kelowna!Highly recommend!“
“Lovely place. Very pleasant lady and delicious food. Beef brisket was tasty and not over salted. Spicy eggplant was excellent.Dietary restrictions: We don't eat pork and one dish came with pork in. It was our mistake for forgetting to ask in advance but the lady replaced it at no charge with a new dish without pork. Much appreciated.“
“Fast, fresh, and suspiciously affordable for the big portion sizes. Love the vegetarian/vegan options possible. Also, competent and helpful on the phone.Vegetarian options: Yes.Dietary restrictions: They have dishes that can accommodate/avoid meat, dairy, peanut, mustard. Very much appreciated <3Note: personallly I'm allergic the last three. And in case anyone hasn't noticed, mustard and dairy are being added to EVERYTHING these days, even foods not traditionally so. (They're cheap flavor fillers, yet are in the top 5 most allergic foods).“
“We love this place! We have ordered many times from here more often than not the food is fantastic and the ginger beef is the best, a few times we have ordered and have had good not great food. But all in all a great place with great service.“
“I don't think I've ever eaten in, but when I pick up supper, they are my go-to, their Red Curry Chicken is the bomb!! They never skimp on the chicken or the veggies, and it is always fresh... when you're craving a great red coconut curry, they will not disappoint.“
“So impressed with our dinner tonight! I never post reviews and I'm not even finished my plate yet, but I absolutely had to share our experience. Fresh, perfectly cooked, crispy, flavorful, incredible food. I should add that we chose delivery, and even then, our order was delivered quickly and tasted like it just came out of the kitchen. Well, well done, New Empress. I'd give you 10 stars if I could!“
“GO HERE!! Fantastic food and service! Even what I would consider "authentic" fortune cookies, none of that brand name stuff that comes bagged retail. Love it, I will most definitely be back for more! Was sad to see the place empty inside due to a staffing shortage...I'd totally dine in!“
“Noticed that the restaurant is closed for renovations with a sign that it’s planning to reopen in the spring 2024. But the restaurant just opened not too long ago. I hope it’s going to reopen as the choice of authentic Chinese food is very limited in Kelowna.“
