Their sweet and sour sauce tasted like metal and overall their food was greasy and didn’t look or taste fresh. I tried their food again yesterday and they have improved!! Ordered the sweet and sour pork with chicken chow mein and both were delicious! The owner lady was lovely as well. I’ll definitely order from them again.“

“The food was incredibly delicious I tried the beef chow ho fun and the beef with mixed vegetables.The portions were humongous. I also got a bubble tea and it came as advertised, and not to mention the service the staff were very attentive and nice. I’m already planning my next visit.“

“This is the best Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. It was actual meat, delicious flavours and good portions. We got chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, beef with broccoli, ginger chicken and honey garlic pork. Everything was delicious. (Sorry I didn’t take pictures I was very hungry and just dug in straight away). Not only was the food really good but I had added up how much it was supposed to be before hand and it was $79 before tax but when I got there to pay and pick up he gave me a discount for paying with cash so I only paid $74! I think that’s personally a great deal considering this fed two people and for atleast 2 days cause we got hella leftovers. I def recommend going here for Chinese. Some of the best (if not the best) Chinese food I’ve had in Kelowna. (All of the food was yummy but honey garlic pork was my favourite)“

“Chan Fortune Restaurant is a great local spot with friendly service, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The portions are generous, the menu has lots of good options, and everything feels fresh and well prepared. It is the kind of place that is easy to come back to and recommend to others. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a solid meal in Kelowna.“

“Love this spot! I'm so grateful to live so close as it has saved me many homecooked meals on nights when I just can't do it. I've had the same gentleman handing the front everytime I have gone in, and he is friendly and prompt with service every time! The food is super fresh and tasty, and the portions are awesome!! This time I ordered the dry garlic pork and the chicken fried rice as a dinner combo. Ran me about $15 but I always tip ;) Amazing amount for the price, was a full dinner ❤ (don't let my poor camera quality deter you haha, its truly delicious 🤩)

Things to note: -Dining room is very small, best for takeout or small groups of 2-4!

-Wait times reflect the freshness, you aren't going to get fresh well made dishes in 5 minutes, expect 15-45 depending on what you order, this is not a fast food joint and the quality shows why!

-Double check that your order was recieved correctly, it gets loud and overwhelming behind the counter, sometimes things get missed. This is no reason to get upset, the staff are working extremely hard and are doing everything they can to provide the experience you are looking for, so listen close when they repeat back your order before payment ❤

“First, we had a snag with customer service however it was quickly rectified and we started getting some food. It was incredible. Very hot, fresh and we came for my daughters' birthdays (6&8). We almost left right off the hop but we decided to continue.

We all enjoyed our food, and everyone was very kind after that. One of the employees saw someone had dropped a larger bill of cash and he ran after the customers to return it! He was also so kind and polite.

We left for the washroom though and when we came back (my kids take a long time, maybe 7 mins) all our food and plates were gone. Kind of a shame as they close in 30 minutes and our bill is $120 for two kids and two adults. Worth it if you're hungry and have time. Honestly though, well worth it! The food was AWESOME. The last buffet we went to it was gross (in another province) with frozen food. This was so very good and fresh.

Parents should also watch their young kids while getting food as we watched a boy pick up jello off his plate and throw it back in to the pile of jello. :/

Not the restaurant's fault but we decided on no jello after that. 😂 Overall, great. But kind of a waste of food to throw our plates out while we were in the washroom. Only my brother was at the table and they handed him the bill (I'm paying).“
