I came here for my birthday lunch this past Saturday and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly accommodating when I needed to make a last-minute change to my reservation, which made everything so easy.

The food was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I ordered the chicken tenders, a drink, and the chocolate cake, and everything was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Overall, it was a lovely experience, and the great service made my birthday celebration feel even more special. I’ll definitely be back!“

“We had lunch at the Cactus Club today April 12, 2022. The location is great because parking is not a problem. Food was amazing and our server, Raeya, was outstanding. She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. “Tried Komo Sushi for the first time recently and was really impressed. Everything tasted fresh, and you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The sushi was made quickly and looked just as good as it tasted.

The staff were super kind and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean, and the whole experience was really enjoyable.

“Mad Mango is a hidden gem in downtown Kelowna. My now go-to lunch spot. I had the XL War Wonton soup and mango banana smoothie which was delicious. Wonton soup was good, but not as good as the Laksa Noodle Soup. Next time I’ll try Richard’s soup (a mash up of wonton soup and chicken curry) and pair it with their their fresh shrimp salad rolls. Can’t wait!“

“Gone here a few times, trying to be healthy , they nickel and dime you every time. Sauce is extra and any tweaks are extra?! But if you say less or no something there is no reduction?
It’s only a buck or two but it makes you not want to return here. Locations are always empty.
The lady I get every time measures everything on a scale the next lady my wife gets eye balls everything. Neither are impressive.
It’s ok but do not need or feel like going back to any location. It’s a 5/10 at best or less due to cheapness?
This chain will die due to counting pennies…..“

“Had a phenomenal lunch at Home Block. It was my first time, and we decided to share a few things from the menu, including a special of the day. Each course was delicious, perfectly paired with a glass of wine, and meticulously crafted. I particularly appreciated the pesto (coming from the land of pesto itself!), and the juiciness of the Wagyu burger. The view was just the cherry on top, perfectly framing every single dish. Shoutout to the kitchen and the service team for the incredible work.“

“This is the best Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. It was actual meat, delicious flavours and good portions. We got chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, beef with broccoli, ginger chicken and honey garlic pork. Everything was delicious. (Sorry I didn’t take pictures I was very hungry and just dug in straight away). Not only was the food really good but I had added up how much it was supposed to be before hand and it was $79 before tax but when I got there to pay and pick up he gave me a discount for paying with cash so I only paid $74! I think that’s personally a great deal considering this fed two people and for atleast 2 days cause we got hella leftovers. I def recommend going here for Chinese. Some of the best (if not the best) Chinese food I’ve had in Kelowna. (All of the food was yummy but honey garlic pork was my favourite)“

Kelly specifically is the BEST, she’s truly an angel and the absolute best server, if you have her you know you’re getting awesome service. Couldn’t recommend Dakodas more if you’re looking for a laid back or nostalgic feel. Great spot to watch any big sporting events as well, it gets super lively!“
