King's Vegetarian Food was my 254th eatery within Vernon city limits.
Although based in Kelowna, they have been at Vernon farmers markets and community events a minimum of 50 times per year for the past several years.
I purchased the vegetarian California roll for $8. That is a significantly lower price than what is offered at Superstore and Walmart.

I had a standing order of salad rolls for the entire winter of 2025 and it was one of the best things I ever did. The curry buns, bean curd, vegan basil cakes, and dumplings ….. sigh. I also get the lemonade with just a touch of sugar and they come in the best cups, I put them through the dishwasher and use them for drinks i make at home after. Cannot say enough great things about this place and the folks who run it!! Kelowna’s best kept secret 🌱🌱🌱

The shaved ice we got was the all natural, four-in-one flavor sensation made up of strawberry, mango, kiwi and blueberry! YUM!
A couple steam buns too, a red bean and a sweet and sour veggie one - will come again.
