“This is a great place for breakfast. We visited on a weekday and did not experience a wait or the usual rush. The food was delicious, and the mushroom soup of the day was a standou-it was absolutely excellent.
The only downside was that it took a little longer than expected to receive our food and later the check. However, the restaurant was extremely busy, so the delay was understandable. Overall, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it well worth the visit. We would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast.“

“WOW! What an experience! 🤩 We randomly came across this place while stopping in Kamloops, and the Google reviews definitely did not lie!
The food was top-notch, the portions were massive, and the staff were so incredibly friendly. The experience was amazing because of them. The prices were also such a great deal considering how much food you get!
If you’re ever in Kamloops, you have to check this place out. We will absolutely be back! ❤“

“Food was great. Had a salad with chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Came in and dined alone, was expecting a more friendly and attentive server. One of the girls at the front realized I wasn’t being cared for, and Abbie (Abby? Abi?) gladly grabbed me cutlery, refilled my water as well as checked on how my food tasted, etc. without me having to ask. She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.“

“We were really craving a good soup and not sure what we wanted. I had Jacob's as a saved place to try and so we gave it a go a couple days ago. We had the Seafood Nabe Udon and the Beef Udon. I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.“

“I was recommended by a friend to check this brewery out. He said the food was amazing and the beer was tasty. I concur. The beef brisket Taco's were loaded and the beer was refreshing. I had a flight since there were a few IPA options, but enjoyed the galaxy Saison the best.“

“We just had an amazing lunch in this restaurant. Friendly staff and good food. I had the red curry with chicken and vegetables my husband Padthai. The host was super friendly and gave us advice about Kamloops gave us a map and showed us the murials. “I absolutely love this restaurant!! I can not say enough about the staff. They are always friendly, smiling and remember you when you come back. The food is great, and the environment is so fitting!! I have a few favourites, Melinda always goes so above and beyond to make each visit outstanding, and chad has as easy flow and just makes you at home. Then you have Brandon walking around making sure you are always happy. Thank you for always making our visits amazing. 🖤“

“Went here for dinner last night and it was so good!
We had the poutine and pretzels for apps. The poutine was well received!
Two of the party split the chicken sandwich and the pulled pork Mac n cheese. They thought that it was an amazing dish.
Not surprising, the pull pork sandwich was also a hit as were the fries, which were great and fresh.
The salad was also good—we liked the crackers on it.
And the pizza also was really good. I got the veggie one.
We got drink as well, which were all good as well!
But the best part of our night was the hospitality shown by all the staff, especially Ashley! She was an amazing waitress and gave us tips for the next day of travel. She even helped when my daughter spilled something on her shirt bringing soda water and stain remover.“

“I will never not recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Chinese in town. We’ve been going here for years. They always recognize us and mostly by our order. We often get a nice little surprise on the house as well. I always love checking out their aquarium of exotic fish!

“In October 2025, we settled in Westsyde. Craving a good Chinese meal, we researched restaurants in the area. As we did that, a commercial for Bamboo Inn popped up on CFJC. We went online and found their menu.
The staff were friendly and efficient in taking my order for pick up. The food was ready very quickly.
Once home, we found the portions were large and the quality excellent. Several orders later, we are still enjoying the food and service every time.“

“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.“
