“I visited Madras Masala, and overall the food experience was genuinely impressive. The flavors were rich, authentic, and clearly made with care — every dish had that comforting, homestyle South Indian touch. The spices were well-balanced, portions were generous, and the presentation was appealing. It’s definitely a place I would recommend purely based on the quality of the food.

However, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation. There was a mid-aged bald chef in the kitchen area who was loudly and aggressively shouting at one of the servers, Anisha, in front of customers. It created a very tense atmosphere in what should have been a relaxed dining setting. What stood out even more was how Anisha handled it — she remained calm, composed, and professional throughout, despite being treated unfairly.

Good food can bring people in, but the overall environment and respect within the team matter just as much. I truly hope the management addresses this, because the restaurant has great potential and staff like Anisha deserve to work in a respectful and supportive environment.“
