“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.“

Many of us had never done a wine tasting and everyone left with smiles and new memories 😊 especially my partner's Oma who's been wanting to go to a winery for years! “Everyone I've interacted with here has been lovely and knowledgeable. I love that they offer 15 bottle batches of wine, so I don't need to commit to a full 30 bottle batch. Both of the wines I made here were excellent, and the bottling process was easy and fun. I'd never made wine before trying this U Brew, but the process was straight forward and easy. I would absolutely recommend this business.“

“Went here for dinner last night and it was so good!

We had the poutine and pretzels for apps. The poutine was well received!

Two of the party split the chicken sandwich and the pulled pork Mac n cheese. They thought that it was an amazing dish.

Not surprising, the pull pork sandwich was also a hit as were the fries, which were great and fresh.

The salad was also good—we liked the crackers on it.

And the pizza also was really good. I got the veggie one.

We got drink as well, which were all good as well!

But the best part of our night was the hospitality shown by all the staff, especially Ashley! She was an amazing waitress and gave us tips for the next day of travel. She even helped when my daughter spilled something on her shirt bringing soda water and stain remover.“

“We hit up Bamboo Inn last week after a friend recommended the black pepper beef, and it did not disappoint at all. The dining room has this cozy, low key vibe that made it easy to linger over way too many plates. Our server was super patient walking us through the menu since half our group had never had Chinese food this good outside of Vancouver. Parking behind the building was surprisingly easy too, which made the whole night that much smoother.“

“Super disappointing lunch today. Ordered the pork tacos that were extremely dry and no flavour and was mostly all tortilla. Ordered the nachos that barely had any cheese on it and had random bits of onion and bell pepper that seemed like they had been previously frozen and huge slices of Jalepenos. Easily the worst nachos I have ever had. Finally tried the churros, they were tough and hard and barely tasted sweet, just tasted like hard deep fried dough. Very disappointing cinco de Mayo lunch, don't recommend.“
