“Had the best experience out with the family in years I can’t remember the last time I have had service in food so good 😊 The private room was just a special touch as I could hear everyone talking and having a great time food was just the best . Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes on the menu Thanks for the great hospitality“

“I will never not recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Chinese in town. We’ve been going here for years. They always recognize us and mostly by our order. We often get a nice little surprise on the house as well. I always love checking out their aquarium of exotic fish!

“The Loaded Chicken Tater Tots were absolutely delicious! The tater tots were perfectly crispy and golden, topped with tender, flavourful chicken, melted cheese, and a delicious sauce that brought everything together. The portion was generous, everything tasted fresh, and every bite was packed with flavour. Such a satisfying comfort meal! I’ll definitely be ordering these again! “If you're looking for great Chinese food in Kamloops, I highly recommend Shanghai Mandarin Restaurant.
The food was excellent with amazing flavor, generous portions, and fresh vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and wasn't greasy like you sometimes get at other places. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great service.
This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kamloops, and I'll definitely be back!“

“In October 2025, we settled in Westsyde. Craving a good Chinese meal, we researched restaurants in the area. As we did that, a commercial for Bamboo Inn popped up on CFJC. We went online and found their menu.
The staff were friendly and efficient in taking my order for pick up. The food was ready very quickly.
Once home, we found the portions were large and the quality excellent. Several orders later, we are still enjoying the food and service every time.“
