“There is nothing more important than having a local coffee shop. When I moved back to Kelowna, it was one of the first things I decided to look for. And make no mistake, there are no shortage of coffee places in this town. But there are certain things I prioritize in a coffee shop:
Amazing, small batch, locally roasted coffees from around the world. Proximity and ease of getting to. And staff that are as knowledgeable as they are fun.

Craft 42 knocks it out of the park on all of them. When it comes to coffee, they are always rotating in new coffees from different countries, regions and fermentation methods. For me personally, I can walk to it (and do most days), and the staff are incredibly engaging (and they taught me the history and difference between an Americano and a Long Black). They know me by name and my order.

Whether it’s Noah, Jordan, Erin, Lily, Alex, Ella or Ishwin, they make you feel welcome and bring joy to the experience.

“My partner and I spent some of our mornings here. The atmosphere was so lovely while reading. I loved that the place opened at 7. The staff were so kind and helpful. We ordered 2 almond croissants, an iced mocha w/ oat milk and an iced Latte the first time. The second time we went, we ordered 2 almond croissants and an iced Latte w/ oat milk and a latte. Everything tasted really good! :))“

“Found Analog when spending time in Kelowna this summer - great staff and excellent flavor with their Godfather espresso. We ended up going back every morning while we were there.
For folks not wanting to try and dial in at home, I took some beans back to try in my machine (grind dialed in for Super Crema) and I surprisingly didn’t need any adjustments.“

“Wow! Amazing staff at this location. The barista was very friendly. I had forgotten to ask for oat milk instead of dairy milk at the ordering station, my mistake, so I asked if they could change my drink to oat base. They did the change without charging me extra! Amazing service for being so accommodating! Highly recommend going here! :) The barista looked African, and she had a top afro. Hope she gets the recognition she deserves!“

“We went to shed on the way to meet family at a nearby park. We had drip coffee, lattes, cappuccino, cinnamon buns, savory croissants and apple fritters.
Everything was great. They heated up the croissants while we waited for our coffee.
The staff were friendly and the wait what you would expect when getting handmade coffee drinks.
There were lots of people coming through while we were there but everything moved quickly and efficiently. This is a great coffee and pastry restaurant.“

“Everyone at this Starbucks is so kind, welcoming, and funny. Every time I come in to get my drink I am greeted with a friendly smile and hello. The girl usually working bar when I come in is named Brea and she is such a lovely soul to talk to and always makes my drink to perfection as I have a confusing order. Coral and Edward are some of the best supervisors I have seen at a store because their team is always smiling and happy when they are on the floor. I will never go to a different Starbucks again, this is officially my favourite store! <3“

“Honestly, best Starbucks staff anywhere! Shout out to Howie. Got a coffee this morning and this location was hopping, but Howie was gracious, helpful and organized. I’ve consistently had the same experience at this location. It seems that this location has a real team atmosphere and is able to hire and retain capable individuals. The students and staff at UBCO are being treated to excellent service with class. Keep up the great work!“

“Bean Scene is one of my regular coffee spots and a great place to work or study. The window views are beautiful, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the coffee is consistently excellent. My favorite drinks are the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte and the Caramel Macchiato—both are absolutely delicious. The baked goods are good, though the coffee is definitely the star of the show. A wonderful spot to spend a few hours with a laptop, a book, or a good conversation.“

“This is by way the best coffee shop in Kelowna. The coffee is always good and they have many options for food. Also unlike a lot of places now, they still have white sugar packets. The staff is very friendly and gets the line through fast if there is one.“

“Stopped by Starbucks and tried the Banana Matcha Protein Drink it was so cute and delicious! 🍌🍵 The flavor was surprisingly balanced, with the banana and matcha blending perfectly, and it had a nice creamy texture. Perfect for a quick pick me up. The staff were friendly, and the store had a cozy vibe. Definitely a fun drink to try if you want something healthy and tasty!“
