“Stopped in last Saturday afternoon after a long drive through the Okanagan and honestly was not expecting much from a small-town cafe, but Bean Scene completely caught me off guard. The latte art on my cortado was the cleanest I've seen outside of a specialty shop in Vancouver, and whoever trained that barista knew what they were doing. The afternoon light coming through the front windows gave the whole room a warm, unhurried feel that made it genuinely hard to leave. If you're passing through Vernon, this is the kind of place you circle back to before getting on the highway.“

“Recently visited with kids. Place is under new management. Very poor choices of baked goods. Offered pop and chips to young kids instead. Washroom dirty and smelly with garbage bucket overflowing... Windows, floors dirty ants crawling and eating crumbs under the tables. We had fun playing games with kids. But atmosphere is not the same anymore. It's April 10th. New owner keeps Christmas decorations on the counter... New barista girl didn't smile, looks overwhelmed. So sad that place lost it's vibe... Please improve“

“I stopped in to this cute little shop in Vernon two years ago, and I fell somewhat in love. I live in Calgary, AB, and order my teas from Teassential when I crave more. This is the best quality tea, best price, and so much care is put into each and every package! I ordered a tea advent this year and opened Day number 5 this morning to find an orgami bird waiting for me inside, alongside my delicious Island Mango tea. “We own a small coffee shop in Creston, BC called Fly in the Fibre. Creston is a remote area to most distributors so getting supplies is not always easy. Canterbury Coffee excels at getting supplies to our little shop and we have been with them from the start of our business which has been over six years. It is almost always two days delivery time and even during the pandemic they were dependable. If I ever have any problems or issues with my order, all it takes is an email and they respond quickly and my problems are dealt with fairly. They also have a large selection of coffee supplies! We highly recommend Canterbury Coffee.“
