“I can’t rave enough about my friends and I’s visit today… after a stressful morning where plans fell through we ended up at cactus from an hour out of town.Everything from the second we entered the front door was exceptional!!!Our patio server Rachel was great. Made us feel welcome, she was attentive, asked questions the right question to recommend drinks we absolutely loved.We ordered the prawn crunch roll and carpaccio…. Excellent 10/10!!!! “We had an amazing stay at the Castle. All of the staff were so polite and friendly, and even offered our friend the Penthouse for his birthday! The room was massive (two beds, two bathrooms, full kitchen), and all of the amenities were top notch! The room was clean and comfortable, with massive amounts of space for the two of us. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the pool and hot tub for as long as we could. This is an excellent property and next time we're in the area, we will be staying here again!”

“Absolutely amazing samosas. The pastry is so flakey and light. The stuffing is seasoned just right and not greasy. So flavorful. And the sauce to go with it...you will want to lick every drop. Joe was very kind and brought over some samosas to the PSAC folks on the picket line. Thank you, Joe!!! The samosas were so delicious that I bought some to take home. While I was there, Joe gave me a sample of the butter chicken sauce and the cholo bowl. I have yet to try the butter chicken sauce, but the cholo bowl was to die for! It's his own recipe and it is phenomenal. It's like a cross between a stew and a soup and the flavors are a dance on your tongue! I will be stopping here next time I am in Vernon!”

“We dined tonight for Valentine’s Day and had the most exceptional service I think we have ever experienced anywhere. The staff were incredible, and not in an over the top trying to make tips kind of way. (I think our waiters name was Adam.. but I could be mistaken) On top of the great service, our drinks were great, and the food was great! Proteins cooked perfectly, and served very quickly! I’d highly recommend!”

“Had many meals at the Peak Fine and their dinner is always food and very well presented. One of Sparkling Hill’s value adds is the great selection of breakfast all included in the room rate. Great idea and lots of great options on the menu. Always a hearty breakfast to fill you up for the day. After many breakfasts, this was the first disappointment in the quality which is normally great. I always loved the fresh fruit ? as I love freshly cut fruit. This time the fruit was dried out and I guess prepared ahead of time or standing around overnight as the server mentioned. The chocolate croissant was also not freshly baked and very firm. The utensils and salt and pepper shakers were soiled and sticky as with cutlery. Small details but important. Spinach & Feta omelette was a little dry for my liking but at the end of it all the view distracts from these shortfalls.”

I find most Timmy’s run out of there cheese tea biscuits in the morning but I called to see if they had any by chance and he made fresh ones for me to pick up. My sons went through the drive thru last week and had the same amazing experience and it was Mustfa that time as well. I don’t know if he is new but the customer service from him is amazing unlike any other Tims we have been to. I fully recommend this location!”

“Rave to, Sushi KaWa Sushi KaWa is a culinary gem drowning in a saturated landscape of fast food pop-ups that litter the humble streets of Vernon B.C. When you first walk through the doors, you are greeted by darkened wood accents, and sleek, elegant decor. The aroma playfully dancing throughout the establishment is subtle, and not overbearing or obnoxious. An eye catching cherry blossom tree stands graciously in the centre of the room. It doesn't appear out of place, or tacky — it's perfect. The staff are attentive, convivial and informative. It's a comforting environment to be within, this makes the process of settling in to visually feast on the menu a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience. The food; in my near forty years of life, I have consumed many plates of sushi and sushi imitations, (even gas station sushi — I'm not proud of it, but it happened...) Sushi KaWa is hands down one of THE best, if not THE best sushi places in Western Canada! I know, I know... sounds crazy, right? At least hear me out; Sushi KaWa is not egregiously overpriced. They're not skimpy on portions, and they don't value flare and theatrics over dining and satisfaction. There are no trendy queues that stretch around the block, it's just good old fashioned good eats! This place, 10/10. I stand by that. It's perfect for a first date, and a returning one. And in my case, it was perfect for a special anniversary date. Try the Volcano Roll — you won't regret it.”

Donburi and Udon dishes are most commonly ordered here. It's definitely their specialties.I really like how the restaurant is decorated and how bright it is.They give you a tray for your bowl, a cup of water, and chopsticks.The Veggie Don came to $15.33 after tax. I finally stood up and saw that my wrap had likely been there for about 15 minutes. I was surprised they didn't call my name a little louder or investigate a bit further after that much time had passed.Otherwise, I really like how clean and big and artistic of a setup they have here. “my sister and I stopped in for a quick meal as we were passing through Vernon on our way to Oyama. A Google search informed us that Jade Asian Kitchen was the "best Chinese food in Vernon," so we decided to give it a try. We each ordered a single combo meal but my sister also wanted deep fried wantons and we both had a craving for dry garlic ribs. A shockingly short time after ordering, our food started to arrive. The super nice waitress, whose name I didn't get, brought out combo plates out first and we marvelled at the amount of food each held. Then another large plate arrived. And another. My sister and I looked at each other and agreed this was more food than we could ever eat in one sitting. I was concerned that the quickness of the food's arrival would mean lukewarm, stale food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for way too long, but I was very pleasantly surprised to discover it tasted fantastic and everything was piping hot! To be fair, this is the only restaurant I have visited in Vernon, but I can't see how it can't be the best in town. Jade Asian Kitchen is certainly one of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ever eaten at. Great job! I will return at every opportunity. Thank you!”

“It’s been awhile since I have had a chance to go here, but when I did it was fantastic. Wish they had later hours though. 7pm is quite early to close. I have been trying to get there for a few weeks now but haven’t been able due to my work hours and I live out off town. I’m sure I’ll make it again one day. I do recommend this place though.
