Hidden gem in Vernon. Best‑tasting food in town — no question. The flavours hit every time, portions are solid, and you can tell the chef actually cares about what’s coming out of the kitchen. Service is relaxed but dialed‑in, and the whole place has that small‑spot charm you only find when a restaurant is focused on quality over hype. Easily one of the spots I’d recommend to anyone who actually loves good food.
Shahi Pakwan is absolutely worth the 40-minute drive every single time! The ambiance is so warm and welcoming, and the staff truly treat you like one of their own. Being there honestly feels like being back home in Pakistan. The food is the closest to authentic Pakistani food I’ve had here. Amazing Pakistani food with authentic flavors! The Lamb karahi was full of flavor, and Fish tikka was amazing the naan was fresh and soft. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine. I will definitely be coming back!
