“Hidden Gem - The food was delicious! They were able to accommodate people with Gluten Free items, people who really can’t handle a spicy meal as well as those who enjoy a very spicy meal. They took a party of 8 in short notice (I called ahead just to be sure) The young lady who served us made sure our orders and bills were correct. Most people had the Butter Chicken (various degrees of spiciness) Rice and Naan. Meals were not brought out at once as each meal is prepared fresh and hot. The Naan was fresh baked not reheated in a microwave. Deep fried items were not greasy and the various dips were tasted good. The hot sizzling plates looked amazing. Try Shai Pakwan in Vernon for your next meal out.“

“My favourite Indian food in town for sure. The garlic naan is my favourite, and even though I ordered the chicken tikka masala (the closer curry to the camera in the picture), I have to mention the coconut chicken curry too because it is SOOO good, like actually one of the best things on the menu for sure. The coconut rice is also delicious. My only small thing is that I sometimes wish the server would come by to refill water or check in a little more, especially because some of the food is spicy and I always feel rude waving someone over. But usually there is only one server when I go, so I totally understand. Overall though, the food is amazing and I have been many times and will for sure be back soon!“

“On vacation and ate at this restaurant three times in three days. Food was outstanding (and we tried a variety of dishes: butter chicken, palak chicken, chicken tikka masala, coconut chicken, fish pakora, coconut rice, naan, masala chai). Had sweets with each meal and soooo delicious. Service was top notch with each visit. This restaurant is a must visit.“
