“Willkommen in der Schweiz! Hailing from Switzerland, the Zuppiger family (Joe, Margrit and 5 children) leave behind their organic orchard and dairy farm for the wonderful possibilities in Canada. Resuming dairy farming in Alberta for 10 years, the beautiful Lake Country life reminiscent of East Switzerland quickly lured them to the new home away from home. Purchasing Suncrest Vineyard and the Carter Farm, the Zuppiger’s officially opened their doors in 2003 becoming the second winery in the area. Eldest son Manuel took up the family honour of a 3 year apprenticeship program in winemaking in Switzerland, then honing his skills in the Barossa Valley, Hillside Winery and finally Tin Horn Creek. Previously producing stunning grapes to Gray Monk, Arrowleaf Cellars has become an award winning winery and an Okanagan “MUST VISIT”! From its namesake Arrowleaf Balsamroot or the Okanagan Sun Flower, a symbol to the dedication of producing only terroir driven wines… you WILL be transported to the idyllic Swiss countryside. 🏆🍷🥂🍇🇨🇭”

We ordered a Vegetarian pizza, cheeseburger pizza, and a Buffalo chicken pizza. Our pizza was on time, courteous service, and everyone enjoyed it. My vegetarian sister in law accidentally ate the buffalo chicken pizza,,, and said it was amazing! The pizzas were clearly marked but she ate it anyway!

“My friend was visiting from England so decided to take her to the Greek house for her birthday last night. The 26 th May. Have been there many times over the years and enjoyed every aspect of it . Food atmosphere staff. But last night I was shocked when the bill turned up and we had been charged 18% service charge. We were only 6 people and the place was not busy. And I object that my server can decide what she should be given as a tip.. it’s never happened before and . if that’s the attitude now I doubt we will be back.”
