“I recently discovered this lovely little gem on the East Shores of Okanagan Lake in the Pebble Beach community. We were told to try the cafe by the owner of a home in Lakestone we were staying at during cancer treatments in Kelowna for my husband. I cannot stress how magically delicious every single morsel of food is in this cafe. Gluten Free and Vegan and you’d never know it! I have returned several times over the course of our 7 weeks stay and had a final treat on their last day open for the season, Dec 14. Imagine how happy I was to see their famous German Gingerbread Praline cake on display. I should’ve bought the entire cake darn it. 🥰 the biscotti the scones the soups…the sandwiches. All so flavourful and perfect. The special flavoured lattes were a real treat too. Thanks to the pleasant young lady (a delight) who suggested we take the Okanagan Centre Rd to Carrs Landing then on to Commonage Rd into Vernon. It was a spectacular fall drive with all the colours. Even saw two huge flocks of wild turkeys!! Highly recommend The Salty Kitchen and I really want to bring everyone I know here!”

Thankfully, this place is the opposite. The food keeps getting better and better. IMO, not a single flaw. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Please do not change. 👍

“My friend was visiting from England so decided to take her to the Greek house for her birthday last night. The 26 th May. Have been there many times over the years and enjoyed every aspect of it . Food atmosphere staff. But last night I was shocked when the bill turned up and we had been charged 18% service charge. We were only 6 people and the place was not busy. And I object that my server can decide what she should be given as a tip.. it’s never happened before and . if that’s the attitude now I doubt we will be back.”

“Honestly, I recommend everything at Oyama Sunblush :) My hubby and I stopped by there on Saturday to check it out for the first time. We picked up some Greek Buns(which are so soft and everything inside them is fresh), Antipasto (which didnt even make it all the way home lol), Apple Chips (we shared a bit with hubby's family because they were all obsessed after one bite) and we also got some gluten free white and brown bread and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. The owner makes her own special blend of gluten free flour and she has created the BEST gluten free bread flour that I have ever had. It is so soft!. It wasnt coarse or gritty, I didnt even need to toast it( anyone who's gluten free knows that bread or buns always have to be toasted to be close to tasting edible). My kids thought it was just an artisan loaf and ate a slice each with dinner and they had no idea that it was gluten free. Its that good. Everything is made / baked with all fresh and local ingredients. Five stars isnt enough! This hidden gem is absolutely worth the detour to drive through Oyama just to stop there!”

“This was my favourite winery we visited on our trip to Kelowna! The casual atmosphere, beautiful view, great food and drinks made it the perfect spot for our crew. We loved the vibes with the games and casual seating. Also a sucker for the view of course.

We had pizzas and sangria slushies! Will be back next time we visit!”

“If I could rate higher I would. We have been members for quite some time, but had our first Sensoria Tasting which was a truly one of a kind experience. Can't say enough about the food, wine and staff. Liz, the Manager, made it a truly personal and memorable moment. Thank you as well to the culinary expertise that provided deliciously prepared food that enhanced both the food and the wine pairing.

We had the charcuterie afterwards which we enjoyed immensely.

“During the worst times of our community, during these horrific fires. Also, during the most recent devastation in our neighbour's communities. This company not only fed us but they supplied so many homes with not just extra food but food for free. This is perhaps a little heavy handed but we don't think so. We will all forever be not only patrons for life, but also huge fans of all of the staff, delivery drivers and managers- owners of this franchise. Huge applause!
