“Honestly, I recommend everything at Oyama Sunblush :) My hubby and I stopped by there on Saturday to check it out for the first time. We picked up some Greek Buns(which are so soft and everything inside them is fresh), Antipasto (which didnt even make it all the way home lol), Apple Chips (we shared a bit with hubby's family because they were all obsessed after one bite) and we also got some gluten free white and brown bread and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. The owner makes her own special blend of gluten free flour and she has created the BEST gluten free bread flour that I have ever had. It is so soft!. It wasnt coarse or gritty, I didnt even need to toast it( anyone who's gluten free knows that bread or buns always have to be toasted to be close to tasting edible). My kids thought it was just an artisan loaf and ate a slice each with dinner and they had no idea that it was gluten free. Its that good. Everything is made / baked with all fresh and local ingredients. Five stars isnt enough! This hidden gem is absolutely worth the detour to drive through Oyama just to stop there!“

“I recently discovered this lovely little gem on the East Shores of Okanagan Lake in the Pebble Beach community. We were told to try the cafe by the owner of a home in Lakestone we were staying at during cancer treatments in Kelowna for my husband. I cannot stress how magically delicious every single morsel of food is in this cafe. Gluten Free and Vegan and you’d never know it! I have returned several times over the course of our 7 weeks stay and had a final treat on their last day open for the season, Dec 14. Imagine how happy I was to see their famous German Gingerbread Praline cake on display. I should’ve bought the entire cake darn it. 🥰 the biscotti the scones the soups…the sandwiches. All so flavourful and perfect. The special flavoured lattes were a real treat too. Thanks to the pleasant young lady (a delight) who suggested we take the Okanagan Centre Rd to Carrs Landing then on to Commonage Rd into Vernon. It was a spectacular fall drive with all the colours. Even saw two huge flocks of wild turkeys!! Highly recommend The Salty Kitchen and I really want to bring everyone I know here!“

“The food and my drink were out fast, and they even were able to switch the milk after I placed my order. Overall great. Ive never eaten in, but I've been through the drive through many times, it's always fast, and the staff are always very kind and nice. Sometimes they do struggle to get the order the first time, but today was great as usual.“
