Always making sure you had enough beverages, checked to make sure everything was nothing less than satisfactory. 2nd, the food, unbelievable. Italian food done correctly. “I had the pleasure of visiting twodonkeys German bakery in West Kelowna today and all I can say is that it was an absolute delight! As a big fan of traditional German pastries, I had high expectations and this bakery definitely lived up to them, even exceeded them.The smell of the sweet treats upon entering the bakery was simply irresistible. The selection of baked goods was impressively large and you could see that there was a lot of attention to detail. From croissants to delicate pretzels to delicious cakes - everything looked amazing.And the taste! I was lucky enough to try some of the delicacies and they were to die for.In addition to the excellent quality of the baked goods, the service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke German and always had a smile on their faces. They were willing to answer questions and make recommendations, which I found very pleasant.The atmosphere in the bakery was cozy and inviting. There were small tables where you could enjoy your treats while watching the hustle and bustle. I immediately felt comfortable and could just enjoy the time.All in all, I can thoroughly recommend the German bakery in West Kelowna. “Was very disappointed with food that we waited for over an hour. We had ordered a millionaire steak sandwich that was overcooked tasteless and poorly presented it looked like it had been thrown together. We sent it back definitely, wasn't worth the $32.00. The Flatbread was cold, and the wings were ok, not great . They have their nerve to charge extra for blue cheese dip, which was not mentioned when we ordered. Besides, why do they give that when they don't give you carrot or celery sticks. Tasted like it was out of a jar definately not from scratch. Won't be back, it's not like it used to be.“
“The gluten free treats were so good! We got a taco salad to split but they were out of a couple things because it was the end of the season and they bent over backwards to make up for it. We were given a couple extra treats and some oat milk lattes to make up for it. It was amazing! The taco salad was so so so good and the lattes were so flavourful. Truly a great spot with fantastic service. Too bad they are closed for the winter! Can’t wait for them to reopen next season!Vegetarian options: Soy chicken, or jackfruit chicken. Soy cheddar.“
