Bohemian Café, a Kelowna institution, is a cute little brunch spot with good food and good portions. The fresh bread is a highlight, high quality and freshly made, with amazing homemade strawberry jam. The potatoes are excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the eggs are cooked exactly right. The lattes are fantastic. For dietary needs, there are lots of vegetarian and vegan options, including the vegan truck stop, and celiac friendly options. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing rockstar service. However, since being bought out a few years ago, the charm has been slowly replaced. Portion sizes have been reduced drastically, particularly with dishes like chicken and waffles (a half of waffle) and Huevos. While the food is very tasty, it is expensive for what you get. A Lox Toasty was plated beautifully but the toast was barely toasted. The eclectic vibe with random posters and mismatched furniture has been replaced by new shiny booth seating.
