They are artisans with their product and family to their people.

Few - if any - will ever see the extents to which they go to make their business thrive or how far above and beyond they go for their staff.

As a small business owner, I'm going to say what a lot of us are not able to say - for those that can't see past the chips, I challenge you to start your own business - and survive - in an world where it is so easy to throw stones without recourse and zero accountability. “I can’t say enough about how amazingly awesome the Square Deep-Dish pizzas are ! Mark off a Sunday or Tuesday and go check them out for yourself … you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been here on numerous occasions over the years and they never disappoint.
All their pizza’s are great but the Square Deep-Dish pizza’s are next level amazing !
Every time I recommend or take family / friends with me to Jackknife, they are just as (if not more) impressed !

“I was able to snag the last sixer of this at a nearby Vancouver liquor store. They were plumb out otherwise! That says a lot about this beer. It isn’t the big bear we used to drink in the 90s (that was awful compared to this) but the price point is just as good. It certainly isn’t comparable to a warm coors light either. Although I appreciate the fact that the rapidly growing popularity of this craft lager is attracting negative Google reviews already (from Malcolm). My hats off to the brewmaster for that!!

In terms of taste, their lager is absolutely and undoubtedly a craft lager. The only comparable I’ve had is at Tofino Brewery, their lager which is on par with this is equally delicious but very hard to get unless on the island. I love my IPAs and pilsners but there’s something about the taste of an ice cold craft lager in Canada that’s unbeatable, worldwide. Thank you for this Big Bear, it’s why I’ve taken the time to write a nice review. Quick question…do you source the water for this delightful adult beverage from Bear Creek?

“My partner and I shared two flights and two tasters - 10 beers in all. Every one was a great representation of its style. How often can you say that about a craft brew lineup! Awesome food and service, too. Cyndi is the best - she went out of her way to introduce us to Kelowna’s best brewery. These two West Koot’s dwellers will definitely be back!“

“We recently (Oct 5th) held our wedding reception at Rustic Reel in the Beer Hall, and it was the perfect day! We had a cocktail reception with small bites and dancing, and our friends and family are still talking about it! This review is truly about their event coordinator, Jade, and how fantastic she is.

From day one, her responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to listen to our vision made all the difference in bringing everything together for our special day. I felt confident that everything would go perfectly because we were completely on the same page, and she truly understood our vision.

“Had fun tonight thanks at your trivia night and I enjoyed my first experience up there with great friendly staff you have! We were just two of us for trivia and if we had a table of 8 like that one table, we may have won too! We did well for just two of us! Just two to confer on answers is an unfair advantage for a table of 8 really and if that table had split up in two's and other tables, we may have won! (: We enjoyed even more knowing this too! The beers were good and I enjoyed the tacos. I took some nice pics too!“

“The coffee is good, the pastries quite nice, and the staff are pleasant & efficient. The venue is amazing, one of the nicest coffee shops I've seen: lots of light and tables, and individual seats, too. A great place to chat, read, or study, and definitely can accommodate groups of people. PS: they sell bottles of bacon ketchup ... yummy!

Wheelchair accessibility: On ground floor, so easy access; interior has wide aisles for movement and tables where a wheelchair can easily be pulled up to. Bathrooms are quite narrow, tho, and didn't notice if there was a specific wheelchair accessible one.“
