“When I first moved to Kelowna and was living at the Manteo, I survived on Bai Tong takeout and room service. After all these years, this family-run restaurant is still serving up the same great food and it always comes with a warm smile“

“I asked for spicy, and they delivered!
Thankfully the chef speaks Thai so I was able to specify exactly what I wanted.
I got two dishes, and asked for them to be very spicy. 🌶️ they did use a lot more dried chillies which doesn't enhance the flavour as much as fresh. Also I asked for no pineapple in the fried rice, but they did it anyways so I am dropping a star for that. Otherwise, I was very happy with the food!
The fried egg was crispy just the way it should be. The green curry was thick and full of veggies which is the way it should be! Not soupy or bland. The menu is a little smaller than I'd like, basically cuz I'm greedy and wish I had access to more of my favourite foods, but they serve all the basics and they do it well!
The curry was so spicy (+5 was written on the top) that I was crying and had to blow my nose. I haven't been able to find spicy of that level for a very, very long time. Well done! Definitely will go back.
I'm located in castlegar and there's not a single decent Thai place in the west Kootenays unfortunately. Might make another trip to k town just for dinner in the future...“

“We visited this store last Friday and Sunday for lunch while visiting Kelowna, and it was really delicious! We ordered Pad See Ew, and the portions were large. I loved that they used a big chunk of tofu and that it was so juicy. The staff were friendly. Especially, the manager (I assumed), who was wearing a beard net, was so welcoming and truly made our day! We loved how clean the store was, and it was great to see him wearing the net for hygiene. I would say this was the best Thai Express I’ve ever had! Thank you so much, guys!“
