“We did 4 wineries in the area and this was the favourite. Megan gave us a really nice tasting, plenty of info on the wine, winery and the region. The wine was also my favourite and we all got some Pinot Gris and the V red blend. My only regret is that I may not have bought enough wine.”
“stopped in on a mid winters day. The tasting room was empty of people. The singular tasting room staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The wine was more full bodied and flavorful than other wines tasted this trip. Wines for nonmembers were in the $29ish range. Members in the $22ish range. A quick note for US peeps, as with other establishments , The credit card terminal or processor offered prices in Canadian and U.S. dollars. I paid in canadian, and a check of my credit card proved that was the best choice, saving 3% on the purchase due to my credit card exchange rate being better than the credit card processor.”
“Lake Breeze's patio is one of the finest and most memorable lunch experiences in Naramata! Delicious food and unbeatable ambiance make this a "must do" if you love great wine and food! Their wines are excellent, sophisticated and refined. Go here - but arrive early as they don't take reservations!”
“Excellent pizza, fantastic service. We ordered over 30 pizzas on a busy weekend night, and Real Things Pizza handled it beautifully. Owner was very pleasant work with ahead of our event, and she even put on extra staff to manage our order! Pizzas arrived on time and were absolutely delicious. Crowd favourites included: Nevermatter, Chorizo McKee, Mushroom Caesar and Artichoke Pesto.”
“Our experience was mixed. The server was super friendly and atmosphere was comfortable enough. I had the fish tacos and a glass of wine from the area, both of which were very enjoyable. My companion had a very disappointing chicken burger which seemed to be of the premade frozen variety. She found it dry and unappetizing and left half. Fries were good.”
“We were in the area wine tasting and stopped for dinner and discovered this amazing restaurant. The decor is very quaint and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Garden House.”
“Quiet place, gentleman who served us was awesome and the food was great. Has the sausage and pirogies and they were both great. Should have had the single sausage though as the two was a bit too much (not a complaint!).”
“Food was absolutely amazing, very happily surprised. Service was top notch. Lighting and booths were great, only rating atmosphere at 4 because against all logic, nobody was in there.Lived in Asia for 3 years (Taiwan, and traveled) love food and cooking. Go here.”
“We loved the food and the server. The food was innovative and delicious. The server was able to explain all the dishes and she suggested how much to order. We had three meze and two small plates which shared among four of us. It was perfect. When I'm back in Penticton I will definitely go to Elma for another meal.”
“I am about as far from vegan as a person can get. I met friends for lunch here and the food was amazing! Had the Mediterranean Bowl and salad wraps (the rice wraps with noodles and peanut sauce). also the staff were great, service was two thumbs up. Prices are fair. 5 stars!”
“I love this place have been doing the meal plan it is amazing and the price is so reasonable. Large portions and the food is GREAT! The owners are so kind and friendly.”
“I’m from Ontario and grew up with chip trucks but now I live on Vancouver Island where there aren’t any, so I’m always very happy when I get to visit Penticton and get these delicious fries. Awesome that they’re open year-round!I also have a fish allergy so I was very glad to find out that fish and fries are done in separate fryers.”
“I was in Penticton for a few hours, and right near this fabulous place. The food is spectacular, really good, meets the quality, flavor and price requirements that anyone would love… one day I will return without hesitation…”
“Just took Dad for strawberry crepes for lunch, Seen a recommendation for them, thought I’d try, as I’m a “crepe hound” (love Nutella & Strawberries together)…unfortunately no Nutella, but the Strawberries & whipped cream were fantastic!! Yummy!”
“Very good food at reasonable prices. Would get 5 stars but only very cheap box wine and no local craft beers. I understand the rational for box wines in a small restaurant but there are some decent box wines available. Excellent place for those who need to eat gluten free.Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice for gluten-free.”
“Wow, this is such a great place! Immediately greeted by smiling energetic staff, fun music and very chic decor. And the food was amazing! Soups, sandwiches and salads - very unique combinations and flavors. Everything we had was delicious!”
“Sensational ! Friendly and welcoming service with food that is prepared and presented with perfection. The flavours here are so delicious and well balanced. Congratulations!”
“Summerland is the Okanagan's hidden gem. Zia's is the crown jewel of eating in Summerland. I have been here many times over the years and the food is the kind of quality of a large city fine dining establishment. The veggies are always fresh and tasteful. The meat and sauces are succulent.Great food at a price that doesn't break the budget. Charming atmosphere in a repurposed stone house.”
“The food is briliant, the service is very fast and the staff welcome everyone coming in and out in a very friendly way. We tried the sushi, curry & ramen and they were all very good.”
“Sat at the bar, which is placed roughly in the center of the restaurant, so you get a pretty good 360° view. The Aesthetic was great, gives me warm industrial vibes. My server Rae was excellent, knowledgeable, and presentableMy chefs for the day were Julia and Matt. It was lovely to watch them prepare my food. All authentic ingredients imported from Italy.Great selections of Okagnagan wine and Italian. Will definitely be back”
“Wow! We just got back from our first time trying, and we will 100% be back!!! The portions are filling and the prices are incredibly reasonable!!! Everything was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. The staff were also so kind. Too freaking good.”
“I ordered here 2 nights in a row for my family because their food was good and the service was very friendly. They also gave me chocolates with my order today for a 'Merry Christmas' treat. My family loved the choices of bubble teas. We'll be back. I recommend the Pad-Thai... It's gluten free!”
“Amazing wine, the most inviting environment and Paul was absolutely lovely. Knowledgable, hospital and warm. You can taste how much care goes into the wine production, lovely family business. Highly recommend and will be back so soon!”
“Best sushi in penticton! The portions are generous, the quality is incredible and the presentation is beautiful.Everything I have tried has been fantastic, and the spicy tofu teriyaki is a favourite so far.Vegetarian options: Probably the best vegetarian food from a non veg restaurant.”
“Such an incredible place with wonderful staff. The drinks are delicious, the food truck makes great food, and the whole experience is terrific. Anytime you’re in Summerland it’s worth heading to Detonate to quench your thirst and hunger”
“Love the beer from Tin whistle brewery and very excited to see the new tasting room!!! Open since may!?!?!? Their beer experiments are delicious and just the new combos im looking for. Great discovery!!”
“The absolute best pizza I have had eaten since I moved to Penticton 4 years ago, from Toronto..Taste, quality ingredients, crust and sauce are insanely perfect .My only complaint, is with myself. Why,why, why ..... did I wait so long to try pizza from Gusto Ferrari !”
“Three of us had 4 dishes last night (delivered). Tandoori, Mango chicken, Butter chicken and Chicken Korma. All were incredibly delicious! The portions were ample so we had leftovers today. We've eaten here numerous times and it's always a hit! Thank you for continuing to make magic with your food!”
“Seattleites! Planning a trip to BC's Okanagan Valley? Do yourselves a favor and enjoy a tasting at this chic and delicious sparkling-style cider mill in the Naramata Bench area. Its French charm, friendly staff (Kim took wonderful care of us) and lovely gardens will leave you feeling relaxed and happy. :)”
“Everything about this cute little gem in Naramata was amazing. The owner and her husband have curated some of the best comfort food and beverage options, all while providing the kindest service with the biggest smile. The menu is incredibly fresh and homemade with love. The breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, clam chowder/tomato soup, carrot cake, and iced lemon traditional tea are just a few of the gems my family and I got to experience! Not to mention, they also have the best chai (amazing hot or iced), as it is the perfect spice:sweet ratio. Cannot wait to return to the Grape Leaf on my next trip to Naramata!”
