Kojo Reviews
Coming from the Coast of BC, I am use to very good Shashimi and Sushi restaurants. Coming to the Okanagan was a bit to get use to. The food was good, but it wasnt always great.
Going to Kojo's our first time over 7 years ago was Stupendous.
I have eaten Shashimi in some great places in SanDiego, Seattle, Vancouver and now Penticton. Kojo's I give you 6*s out of 5

From the backdrop of Mount Fuji to the beautiful Okanagan Sushi Chef Kan Tatsuo brings a taste of Tokyo to our backyard with KOJO Penticton. Blending authentic Japanese with North America this fusion menu is a foodie’s “Must Visit”! Always fresh seafood, artistic rolls, flavourful ramen, and their own craft sake Kojo is a valley favourite of ours. 🏆🍣🍜🍶🇯🇵

Kojo is a well-liked restaurant in the area, offering a variety of tasty dishes. The sushi and spicy ramen are standout menu items, while the restaurant also caters to dietary restrictions with decent vegetarian and gluten-free options. Customers appreciate the friendly service and warm atmosphere, though the small space and popularity of the eatery can mean limited seating. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with staff showing great chemistry. The restaurant is located just steps away from Skaha Lake, making it a great spot for a relaxing outing. Kojo provides a satisfying dining experience with a focus on good food and customer care, with options like the creamy vegan ramen and yuzu sake adding to the appeal. The restaurant is praised for its authentic Japanese atmosphere, fresh and beautifully presented food, and great overall vibe, with excellent customer service that goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience.
