“We loved the food and the server. The food was innovative and delicious. The server was able to explain all the dishes and she suggested how much to order. We had three meze and two small plates which shared among four of us. It was perfect. When I'm back in Penticton I will definitely go to Elma for another meal.”

“I have visited La Frenz many times, and have always bought my wine in person or ordered online in the past. This week when their holiday packs were released, I decided to take advantage and snag a few of the sold out wines I had really enjoyed. I had some questions before ordering so I called in and spoke with their manager Cathy. She was extremely responsive and made sure I got the holiday pack best suited to my individual tastes. She was a pleasure to deal with. I can’t wait to visit the winery again next summer - they continue to impress not only with their wines but also with the quality of service they provide. “Very good place to have coffee. Staff very friendly. I was recently homeless and the Managers there called the police in me for giving some smarties to a friend. Very discriminatory against aboriginals and homeless. They just assume all homeless people are either drug dealers or drug users. I am am neither; just reastablsihing my life. It made me angry to be profiled; especially at such a forward thinking place as Starbucks. Those two managers judge based of fear, arrogance, but never have tried empathy or communication. They didn't even ask they just assumed and they assumed wrong. I am not one to sue anyone or company but even after buying a coffee and being a customer I was still discriminated against. I am First Nations and was homeless, but not anymore. I plan on going there as often as possible and eat a pack of smarties just to show that Smarties is not only not a drug but lying to a police officer is a crime, and so is racial profiling. Oops! They should both be fired in my opinion. That was this just morning before 11 am. I even ate the smarties in front of the police officer to show him they were just smarties and was still asked to leave. Again, that was a fail. I am a free thinking Canadian, enjoys his free speech and loves to share :).”

The produce has always been fresh and none of the food feels like it's sat under a heater for hours.The staff has also always been very friendly!”

“I've been there several times over the years. Saved my life going through chemo. I have end stage COPD and my dog who is 7 is with me constantly. He is certified for medical service. (Picture ID) I've never had a problem before but today I was asked to wait outside. The one girl said the other had allergies. Fair enough I'm happy to. The girl with the allergy brought me my drink. I questioned her on the allergy thats when things went sideways. She got upset me and I was upset too.As the place was busy i left. I'm giving them a 4 because this is the first time I've had that problem. Normally customer service is good. Never a complaint about the product.”

Because chocolate is my favourite flavour, she got me a very tasty log cake. With chocolate soft serve and chocolate crunch on the inside, this decadent cake was surrounded by chocolate fudge then wrapped in a thick outside coating of chocolate/vanilla ice cream sprinkled with chocolate crumbs and birthday decorations. Not only did we enjoy it for my birthday but because this cake serves eight, we continued to celebrate for a few more days!!”

“Came in for a quick lunch as I am painting my home. I used the app (first time) and tried to get an offer for a Papa burger and onion rings. The order only showed the burger. So I asked at the till but they weren’t sure how to handle it. They quickly referred me to Brandon (I assume a supervisor or manager) who quickly addressed my concern and happily added onion rings to my order without extra charge. He was kind and very courteous.
