“We always have such a fun and informative experience with Kathy, in Naramata. Today we were treated to some beautiful 2014 wines, as part of our wine club pick up experience. Live music was happening, the sun was shining, and a great tasting with Kathy made our Saturday!“

“We had the absolute best time at Red Rooster Winery, and a huge part of that was because of Joel! He was truly exceptional. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about wine, but what really stood out was how personable and welcoming he was. He made us feel genuinely invited and happy to be there from the moment we arrived.
The tasting was so much fun, and Joel made it feel relaxed, engaging, and personal. We actually enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn’t even have enough time to make it to another winery afterward, which says a lot about the experience!
The wine club is also such a great offering. After our tasting, we were so impressed that we joined, and I’m very much looking forward to coming home to Ontario and having my 12 bottles of wine delivered!
If you visit Red Rooster, definitely ask for Joel. He made our wine tasting such a memorable experience, and we would absolutely come back again! 🍷“
“ROCHE wines’s story weaves love, authentic French wine making tradition and an adventurous move to the Okanagan. Dylan Roche (Burgundy, Chablis, New Zealand, Margaux) an avid cyclist wished to pursue becoming a cycle mechanic and tour guide in the idyllic countryside of Burgundy in 2000. Serendipitously, the alluring life of winemaking converted him to officially train in Beaune (2003). Pénélope Furt-Roche (6th generation Bordeaux winemaker of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Spain, New Zealand, Australia,Tasmania) grew up at the esteemed family estate in Bordeaux and at a young age learned the exquisite French tradition of winemaking with her Father Didier. The two merged paths in New Zealand whilst discovering Hawkes Bay during harvest and fell in love (original Hallmark story). They chased each back to France, started a life and both continued their wine journey in Bordeaux. In 2010, the family decided to sell the estate and with a leap of faith the vignerons couple wanted to pursue a dream of their own… Roche Wines! New transplanted they found their desired location in 2011 and commenced various projects to assist them to their final goal in 2017. Being organic, with hands-on farming, focused on sustainable practices and paired with unique Okanagan terroir Roche Wines has quickly excelled. Within their 5 years, Dylan and Pénélope have received BC Lieutenant Governor Awards, Highlighted in Decanter Magazine, high accolades from Jancis Robinson MW/London and wines are currently in most of BC’s TOP restaurants. Equally impressive is family friend and Award Winning Veteran winemaker Dwight Sick (Stag’s Hollow, Moraine Estate Winery, Chain Reaction, Seven Stones) whom has a stunning collaboration with Roche- Amulet Series. His glimpse of the Rhône features highly acclaimed and sought after Viognier/Marsanne, Grenache/Syrah blends. “Perched above striking, white clay cliffs moraines, the estate's soil gives its wines a distinct, earthy minerality unique to the Naramata Bench. Their premium wine tasting experience cost $15 per person, a portion of all tasting proceeds is donated directly charity and fees are waived if make a purchase - which all of us did because everything tasted well balanced.
The lady was very hospitable even accommodated us just before closing with fully customizable flights at the standing indoor bar service. Next time I come back will try an upgraded experience at their seated outdoor patio tables while enjoying their $29 artisanal charcuterie board that includes food items paired with curated your pours.
Standout Varietals included award-winning Cliffhanger Red (a smooth Malbec and Merlot blend), and hand-picked Estate Pinot Noir. The winery strictly commits to crafting fresh, fruit-forward wines using only grapes grown directly on the Naramata Bench.“

“Had a really good tasting here today. Geraldine poured our wines, and the tasting was informative. We really enjoyed ourselves.
This place has history in the area. As the story goes, it used to be called Ruby Tuesday, with permission from the Rolling Stones' management to use the name, until an American restaurant chain of the same name challenged it. So they changed the name, and Ruby Blues was born.
Regardless of the name, they make fantastic wine. We even heard at another winery that every time you drive by, it seems like there's something fun going on down here. We ended up walking away with a few bottles, including a Viognier. It wasn't open for tasting, so we had to buy one to find out!“

“A must stop on the Naramata Bench!! Such a wonderful experience of wine tasting. The wines were unique and delicious, different varietals than every other winery on the Naramata bench to expand your horizon and palette! Highly recommend. Javen and Lisa made this experience so much more than just a wine tasting.“
“We went for wines' sampling and what treat it was! We tasted six wines, each unique but three of them truly remarkable. Our favorite was 2019 Pinot Noir, slightly ahead of 2022 Cabernet Franc, with surprisingly well composed bouquet. We liked cozy atmosphere and well presented introduction to wines. Prices are on 'friendly' side.“
“What an unforgettable experience! We reserved a table for a tasting, and our host Larry was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. And the wine… wow! Every bottle we tried was exceptional. Let’s just say, it was a challenge finding enough room in the truck for all the wine we brought home!“

“Don’t be confused but the name and photos being more focused on the guest house. This is an INCREDIBLE winery, one of our favourites in the area and we always make a point to stop here. The wines are great if you enjoy Italian reds and dessert wine.
It feels like you are having a wine tasting in a friends beautiful backyard. Games set up for kids and an incredible sandwhich truck which is a must try.“

“We went to Laughingstock for a wine tasting today. Our server, Vera, was lovely but so busy we didn't have a great experience. Apparently reservations are recommended. We walked in and were seated. Vera brought us our samples and then had to run to another table. We waited a long time for our next sample of mediocre wine. I'd rather they told us they were too busy to properly accommodate us. We could have spent out time at another winery that could give us their time and attention.“

Rustic, wine country charm, with beautiful artisanal cheeses and natural style wines… and a perfect picnic area to enjoy the day! 😎🧀🥖🍷🥂 Met Jen & Jen whom make handmade artisanal cheese and source to some of the best restaurants in BC. Had a great cheese and wine pairing compliments of the wonderful host Ginger. Learned about Matthew SherLOCK and Ross HackWORTH from Lock & Worth. Organic, hand harvested, unfined and unfiltered… beautifully done!“

“The Edge at the Rise golf course often has their wine on their menu so we thought we’d visit and we were so delighted by our experience. Amazing tasting of 5 wines with heavy pours for $10. They rotated a nicer vintage of their Syrah they found an extra case of into their flight offers and put it on sale - easy buy! 2025 Pinot Gris was my favourite. Didn’t find the other wines memorable. Staff was warm, knowledgeable, and very welcoming to our dog and crying newborn in a stroller.
If you’re looking for a patio with many seating options and a great view, this isn’t it. The patio was tiny with a couple tables, but on our weekday offseason visit that wasn’t an issue. They welcomed us inside if we wished, but we made ourselves comfortable on their front patio. Not much for views here except for their own nearby rolling hills of vines. Will keep ordering this wine when I see it on menus! Bought a few bottles.“
