“Amazing experience at this winery!Yes, the location is amazing, the terrace by the lake, we could see that in the pictures... but the most important thing, the wines are GREAT, the orange muscat is amazing, the pinot noir is so well balanced and the reserve provenir is a wine that will age great, but still accessible today in the 2018 vintage tasted today. +++ we had the best service in the valley with Martine! We'll be coming back for sure!“

Adega On 45th Estate Winery Winery • $$
7311 45 St, Osoyoos

“This winery may have mixed reviews, but our experience was great. Rarely do we travel this far South, but we had set out early from Kelowna and the other wineries weren't open yet so we decided to go South and work our way home. The property is pleasant, clean and inviting. The tasting room is using appropriate protocols. Lots of local artwork to look and and purchase. The person who poured our tasting was cheerful and knowledgeable. She answered every question. The Reisling has a great little unique pop of flavor. Yes, they do ask for a donation to BC Children's hospital in lieu of tasting fee. To those reviewers who have complained about this - come on!! It's a measley two bucks. Any other tasting room you will pay a $10.00 tasting fee.So glad we tried it out, we will be back!“

vinAmité Winery and Wine Lounge Winery • $$
5381 BC-97, Oliver - 9.72 miles

“You can skip all the reviews (even this one) and just go here. The wine is incredible, they serve a variety of local beverages, the atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, but most importantly, the staff and owner(s) are outstanding. I managed to show up just as their trivia night was ramping up, and the place was packed. Immediately, Catherine (the winemaker and I think owner) recognized that I was a little overwhelmed and brought my wife and I to a more open space behind the bar to do a tasting. She made great conversation, asked where we were from, how our trip to wine country was going, and overall just made us feel like old friends. Even when I admitted to not knowing anything about wine, she told me the most important thing was if I liked the taste. I ended up buying a Gamay Noir and their Compass blend, both of which were fantastic, and Catherine even gave us a box to start our haul for our trip. Go to vinAmité and experience the authenticity of their name. Great wine and friendship abound.“

Nostalgia Wines Inc. Winery •
4900 Black Sage Rd, Oliver - 8.71 miles

“We were driving down and saw the sign for nostalgia wine, it grabbed our attention and we decided to take a detour and check it out. We were the only people there and were welcomed back Jack. We ended up spending over 30 minutes there just chatting up with Jack about so many things, their adventures out to the west coast and feeling nostalgic about life in Ontario. The wine was really nice and Jack gave us customized wine tasting based on our preference, because my husband prefers white wine over red. Thank you Jack, it was truely one of our favourite part of our day and if you’re ever in Oliver, you should definitely check them out ??“

Hester Creek Estate Winery Wineries • $$
877 Rd 8, Oliver - 9.63 miles

“What a fantastic experience! Hester Creek is not just a winery or a restaurant or overnight accommodations, it is an experience. The views are simply stunning and from the moment we arrived we were treated so well. Usually you'd be lucky to have one memorable interaction but between Melissa's warm welcome at the Villa, Susan's knowledge and personality shining through at our tasting, and Kristi's attentive service at dinner at Terrafina, the whole place is obviously staffed up with gems. What an absolute rockstar Kristi is, calmly motoring around the restaurant with a smile on her face the whole time. The food was excellent at both the restaurant and breakfast on our peaceful patio in the morning. So classy but not at all pretentious. We are delighted to be here and we will be back!“

“Bartier Bros. is our go-to winery in summer for their flights with cheese pairings, but for a real treat, join their wine club for the “pick-up parties.” The staff is amazing, and somehow we always end up going home with more than our membership wines ? Thank you all for another fantastic year (and party)!“

Stoneboat Pinot House Winery • $$

“We had a delightful experience wine tasting at Stoneboat winery. We booked a seated garden tasting. Blake was our amazing host for our tasting- he is also the tasting room manager, he is clearly passionate about wine and passionate about Stoneboat wines! Our experience was not only tasty but very educational. Blake was easy to talk and engaged our many questions. As we lingered finishing our ice wine Andrew the vineyard manager ( I believe?!) stopped to chat he too was so engaging, passionate about their wines and willingly spent time educating us on more aspects of the wine making industry. Such a great experience! Definitely recommend a visit! And definitely take home so wine!“

We were greeted by a friendly staff member who also did the wine tasting and did a great job of explaining the wines we tried. They also provide house made bread to try with the wine that was delicious! We bought two loaves and two bottles of wine to take home. Definitely recommend to others!“

Le Vieux Pin Winery •

“Vineyard where you must book in advance, but which is well worth it. Marie-Pier took the time to explain to me the history of the vineyard, the philosophy behind the wines: wines that respect the land and the climate of the region. Wines with the style of the Old World (Burgundy) but with local character“

Black Hills Estate Winery Winery • $$
4190 Black Sage Rd, Oliver - 6.46 miles

“We are from Washington and love great, fruit forward, reds. We heard the BC wines were getting better than our last trip (over 10 years ago!), so we spent 4 days in Osoyoos/Oliver to see what they had. Black Hills was our absolute favorite! Our "wine ambassador" Khazan, was just great! So knowledgeable and an absolute lovely guy, which made our special "NOtable" tasting (vertical tasting of their Note Bene wine offered only the month of June) a great experience! Khazan and the Note Bene wine would have earned a five star review, but a few things knocked the review down a star.... Our greeting when we arrived (where the person didn't even know what we had signed up for and paid for in advance) and the same person when we left, who said she couldn't comp the tasting fee, even though we bought over $800 worth of wine. VERY disappointing! Also, when offering a special experience that costs $60 per person, have some information about the wine that we are drinking available so we can read about it.“
