She was incredibly excited to tell me all about her job, about how much she loves working at Smitty’s, and about how she is even getting her nails done with fancy, sparkly designs to match her boss there for Saint Patrick’s Day. It absolutely warmed my heart. I don’t visit Smitty’s often, but this young girl having such passion for her workplace has alone given me all that I need to know about the atmosphere and generosity of the staff and her employers. She will grow up to be an exemplary person - I just know it. Thank you all at Smitty’s for inspiring and lifting up our youth! And thank you especially to the young girl for making me smile ?“

“Amazing experience at this winery!Yes, the location is amazing, the terrace by the lake, we could see that in the pictures... but the most important thing, the wines are GREAT, the orange muscat is amazing, the pinot noir is so well balanced and the reserve provenir is a wine that will age great, but still accessible today in the 2018 vintage tasted today. +++ we had the best service in the valley with Martine! We'll be coming back for sure!“

“Vineyard where you must reserve. Allan took the time to explain to me the difference between the different wines. Wines with Italian origins with blends with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese and yes Super Tuscans with a Canadian taste.“

“I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay, in Osoyoos.This was our first Best Western Plus experience and we enjoyed ourselves so much, we signed up for the Loyalty program and intend on staying with BW Plus whenever we travel, in the future.Rooms: We stayed in a suite which had a separate bedroom and a full kitchen. We stayed for three months and never once felt cramped. Excellent value and perfect for a long term stay.Nearby activities: Golf, Bingo, Card games, hiking, boating fishing senior center activities, great sight seeing and much more.Safety: We always felt safe at the hotel and in the entire community of Osoyoos.Walkability: The hotel is within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, coffee shops, the beach, and downtown shopping.Food & drinks: The breakfast is excellent. Lots of choices that change daily. Bacon/Sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, fresh fruit, hot & cold cereal, bagels, juice, and more.Noteworthy details: We took full advantage of the in-Hotel Laundry facilities, as will as the pool and hot tub.“

“It's been 2 years since I reviewed the delicious food at Ambrosia. It's sure worth an updated shout out.This family run restaurant is a real joy to visit. I always feel like I've come home to a great meal,although am eating out. Expect to be greeted by a sweet friendly server who really caters to customers' food requests and the chef sure delivers on your preferences! Her butter chicken is amazing! The aromas and spices in this dish are beyond special. My taste buds keep craving more. I got the stir fry today add chicken.They also have add beef or shrimp options. The veggies always look so fresh and the carrots are so big, bright and tasty looking. It looks like a colourful rainbow of healthy food on a plate! And please don't miss out on their cup of warming joy; I mean their special Chai. 5 star experience! Hope you all get to visit.“

“This winery may have mixed reviews, but our experience was great. Rarely do we travel this far South, but we had set out early from Kelowna and the other wineries weren't open yet so we decided to go South and work our way home.The property is pleasant, clean and inviting. The tasting room is using appropriate protocols. Lots of local artwork to look and and purchase.The person who poured our tasting was cheerful and knowledgeable. She answered every question.The Reisling has a great little unique pop of flavor. Yes, they do ask for a donation to BC Children's hospital in lieu of tasting fee. To those reviewers who have complained about this - come on!! It's a measley two bucks. Any other tasting room you will pay a $10.00 tasting fee.So glad we tried it out, we will be back!“

“We were driving down and saw the sign for nostalgia wine, it grabbed our attention and we decided to take a detour and check it out. We were the only people there and were welcomed back Jack. We ended up spending over 30 minutes there just chatting up with Jack about so many things, their adventures out to the west coast and feeling nostalgic about life in Ontario. The wine was really nice and Jack gave us customized wine tasting based on our preference, because my husband prefers white wine over red. Thank you Jack, it was truely one of our favourite part of our day and if you’re ever in Oliver, you should definitely check them out ??“

“Ate there today and it was FANTASTIC.Came down from Osoyoos as our neighbours raved about it and they were right. Had a BBB burger, guido bites and my wife had the chicken burger and tater kegs. BEST EVER. Best burger I ever had. Cool decor and Tim was a fantastic bartender and server with a great sense of humour and a Margherita master. Fresh squeezed citrus and best Marg north of San Diego. We will definitely be back, like.....weekly. Keep up the great work Tim!Curt and Tamara“

“We had a great experience here. We had heard about this place through another staff member at a winery nearby and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who also did the wine tasting and did a great job of explaining the wines we tried. They also provide house made bread to try with the wine that was delicious! We bought two loaves and two bottles of wine to take home. Definitely recommend to others!“
