Smitty's Family Restaurant is a fantastic chain that should not be discounted. The food is solid, absolutely delicious every single time, and feels like a home cooked meal. Guests keep getting the same stuff because they really like it, and it is worth a little drive. The menu is great for any time of day, with favorites including the shredded hash browns with crispy streaky bacon brunch plate and the Caesar salad with added crispy bacon. Off the menu specials like prime rib dinner and Toasted chicken salad dinners are fabulous. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and accommodating. One server named Lorene was an absolute rockstar, flawlessly handling a large group with upbeat, friendly, genuinely happy service while keeping bills correct and drinks topped up. The restaurant has a friendly and cosy atmosphere with quirky signs on the walls that make guests smile. It is a welcoming place with a toy chest box for kids, making it enjoyable for the whole family. Definitely recommend a visit or two as the best breakfast spot in town.
