Originally the stunning property was an apricot orchard owned by the pioneering Riddle family in the early 1900’s. Joining that spirit were Vera and Bohumir Klokocka arriving from Czechoslovakia to purchase in 1979 and plant their dream vines in 1984. Next, creation of the beautifully rustic European grist mill design timber frame we see today all laden with white pine and Douglas fir beams truly transports you to the historic countryside still preserved.

Fabulous lunch today by Chef Evan Robertson with lots of delicious choices made with local produce and generous servings. Accompanied by wine pairings and stunning views, this is an experience that will take you to another world for a few hours. Recommended.
Stopped in for a tasting, before the rush. Had our tasting at the bistro. Our service was incredible, information and explanation was a level above. Ordered a pasta dish, really good idea. Fresh from the garden ingredients, so good. Several wines are good, seriously recommend trying this place out. They also have a separate tasting area.

The autumn charcuterie board and warm fresh bread basket are highly recommended, along with the warm apple cake dessert. Visitors appreciate the attentive service, personalized touches, and expert wine pairings, which enhance the dining experience. Desserts include mini tarts, squares, and chocolates, praised for their delicious taste. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere, combined with great service, food, and wine, makes it a favorite for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a meal with friends, leaving guests eager to return. The outdoor patio is especially lovely during the summer months, providing a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Despite a minor issue with a steak being served cold, visitors still consider it a delightful wine and dining experience, and look forward to coming back.
