Great food, excellent patio, and well . . . Super wine
The steelhead trout was fantastic. Creative, fresh and delicious. The service was also excellent; both attentive and informative. The patio was beautiful on a sunny, late summer day.
We walked in for a wine tasting and were warmly welcomed by Jane. She was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the wines to us and give us great recommendations.
We were even able to bring our dog inside for the tasting, which is so rare and made the experience even better!

Lake Breeze Vineyards Tasting Room offers a phenomenal wine tasting experience, with exceptional service and delicious wine, including the incredible rosé and bubbly. The beautifully manicured grounds, inviting courtyards, and airy patio surrounded by lush gardens create a quaint European ambience that is both satisfying and alluring. Knowledgeable staff, including great hosts like Darrel and Sarah, provide an educational and entertaining experience, often recommending perfect pairings, like prosciutto, which enhances the flavors of the menu.
The original vineyard dates back to 1985 and is one of the oldest on the Naramata Bench, officially opening in 1995 with Swiss-born Paul and Vereena Moser. Winemaker Garron Elmes merges the stunning wine tradition of South Africa with Okanagan terroir, bringing attention to the impressive potential of pinotage. New owners Drew and Barbara McIntyre expanded the winery from its rustic roots to its current appeal. Winemaker Victor Costa contributes his Portuguese family roots and tradition to the lovely portfolio.
In the kitchen, veteran Chef de Cuisine Mark Ashton delivers a complete farm-to-table experience, focusing on ethically raised heritage pigs and farm-grown produce. Tying together elegant winemaking and beautifully prepared dishes, Lake Breeze Vineyards is a favorite recommendation for those seeking an elevated dining experience in a relaxing setting. The food is an experience on its own, and the cool little dog that walks around adds to the charm of this must-visit winery.
