Great coffee and gelato, but also amazing authentic pasta and best breakfasts in town! Perfect patio for people watching downtown.

I had the best Akbar Mashti flavour here! The guy preparing our gelato was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.

I have absolutely no idea how this place got so many good reviews! We went here, cuz it was recommended to us by a friend, but that's not happening again. We got the Spaghetti Gelato and some scoops - Storm, Coffee, Strawberry and Mango I believe. We spent almost $40 for this bit of frozen, tasteless junk! And the portions are ridiculously small! This place is a joke. The whole facility is a joke- old and rundown. What a Rip-off!

Solid 5 stars! My cafe cortado was perfect. The roast potatoes were delicious. My daughter enjoyed her croissant and asked for an Italian donut to take home. This is our second time and we will be back.

UPDATE 2 (sadly): I see that you have turned to diving into people’s past reviews to justify your point rather than taking a bit of accountability which is sad. I didn’t know you were at that restaurant at the same time to feel like you can comment on it and give your opinion. I hope you enjoyed your Hawaii trip. There are many establishments that have self serve options and there are many others with the common sense to talk to their customers with respect. UPDATE: This reply I got shows that the apology we received right there was not sincere at all. I don’t understand how it is a problem that I picked up the cookie that I will eat without touching anything else and how it is a reason to throw everything away. The stand was right in front of us in an accessible manner. They were not being displayed behind the counter. If we were made aware of this fact at the time we were there, we could consider purchasing them as they were delicious like I said, instead of wasting them. Also, this means that you should be wearing gloves for the food you put on my plate which I didn’t see you were doing. We’ve been to enough cafes and we are well aware of restaurant manners which is not your business to comment at all, it is very condescending. Please refer to the review you received a week ago. The reviewer is most likely talking about the same person.

My boyfriend and I visited this place today around 9:30am. We ordered a coffee, a croissant and a raspberry cookie which was really delicious. However, we were yelled at in a really rude manner by one of the baristas when we grabbed the cookie ourselves from the glass display stand right in front of us. There was no instructions saying we couldn’t once purchased. We were dumbfounded because it felt like we were being scolded after paying and tipping before the service. An unnecessary scene was created that ruined the atmosphere for us.

Later on, the other employee who we assume was the shift manager came and nicely apologized and explained to us why we couldn’t grab it ourselves which was understandable. We just wish the attitude was different and more friendly in the first place especially when we heard from the tourist centre that tourism was low this summer in beautiful Kelowna.
