Asian Pear is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving a good Asian buffet.
The food is always fresh and full of flavour, with a really solid variety so there’s something for everyone. Everything is kept well stocked, and nothing ever feels like it’s been sitting out too long.
The staff are friendly and the place is clean and comfortable, which makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Great spot for family dinners or going with friends.
Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a tasty buffet!

Me, my wife and my 9 year old step son showed at 645 on a Tuesday to an empty restaurant and a less than appetizing looking buffet. Hoping that they would restock some of the items and we could find some edible food we made the decision to give it a go.
In retrospect we should have left then but after a trip to the buffet and finding the food to be old and dried out to the point of being inedible and very unfoodsafe I explained the situation to the waiter who told me everything looked great. He was kind enough to only charge us the lunch price for our untouched plates and I was grateful for the opportunity to only have to pay 60$ for this slop unfit for human consumption.
With all the quality establishment’s in Kelowna for people to spend their hard earned money Im surprised this place is able to continue to operate with this subpar and potentially dangerous quality food and service.
One star is more than they deserve and I wish them a visit from the health inspector in the new year.

They charged me $37 for two 5 year old children who had three bites of food. They charged my husband and I $70 for food that had been sitting for hours... Must have been packed full of MSG as I was full after half a plate. I spent the last 10 minutes of my meal in the washroom with my child both very ill. Hardly made it home... Food poisoning. Nothing was steaming and hot or freshly made. I got it it's winter and it is slow... Probably the worst idea to eat at a buffet. Will not recommend will not be back
I stayed for almost an hour during dinner time, and they didn’t refill the crab even once. It had clearly been sitting out for too long — the parts that were soaked in water were extremely bland, while the top parts were salty. It was a mess. The soup also had a strong off-smell, so I couldn’t eat it. Overall, there was nothing worth eating. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Would not go again to be honest. Food was pretty good but I had a 10% gratuity forced on me for being in a group setting and paying my own bill. They would refuse to take it off the bill.. Definitely trying to scam people out of money
