Food was good for sure. Our waiter was a little over friendly and a bit cheeky. We were 5, 60+ ladies so did not need the chat up stuff. Took awhile to get our meals and also our bills. Really like this restaurant but have service issues on a couple of occasions. Food is always great though.

My father has been a burger connoisseur probably since the 1930s. He proclaimed the Curious Royale as one of the best burgers he's ever eaten. And as the Tuesday night special paired with Franco's Euro Pilsner, it was a deal too good to pass up! Curious is a neighbourhood gem, smack dab in the middle of downtown! Thanks to the Curious team for a great experience!

Came in on a slow day to celebrate my husband's 40th with a drink and a pizza. I am not in the service industry so I am not quick to judge, however my husband is, and together we agreed after that the service was weirdly slow for how dead it was (two other tables?) when we came in. Server was nice but nothing beyond "what food do you want? Sure." Post-Christmas blues? Lol I'm not sure but I felt dumb for making a reservation there indicating a special occasion. Yes it sucks his birthday is right after Christmas haha.

A huge and sincere thank you to Calen and the whole Curious staff. They took excellent care of our rather large group - a group from a local business. We were the ones who made the space energetic yesterday haha. Our group was larger than expected and people were bouncing around from seat to seat. Calen did an outstanding job keeping everyone happy. We are happy to return again soon. 10/10.

I wouldn't recommend this place for brunch. They put stewed tomatoes on everything, served undressed raw spinach and I'm pretty sure buy their hash browns from Costco. Very disappointing for 25$ plates.

We had friends coming in to town from Penticton and they requested a quieter location, tapas and no TV's. The level of chatter was fine, the server was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. And there were no TV's, I'm glad every place does not have to be a sports bar. As usual, the menu provided ample choice and delicious bites and the wine list provided great sips. We will be back.

Our server was amazing! My sisters pizza was so good. I had the chicken with fries and Altho it was good my request is to serve with a tastier sauce... otherwise everything was spot on!! Love the atmosphere

Excellent service and food! The food is always delicious and fresh! Our server last night was the best one we have ever had there - so kind and friendly and attentive! Our only miss was the desserts - both the chocolate cake (it was more a cupcake) and cream puffs were underwhelming and not on par with the rest of the menu. But the pizza party was a great value and everything included in that was phenomenal.

Was great to see so many gluten free options on the menu, including a dedicated fryer!!! This is a game change for any celiac. The drink menu is also phenomenal - they basically have anything you can imagine. Definitely recommend!

Open concept makes it pretty loud. Food was good. Service average. Bottle of wine just plonked on the table....not even the first glass poured by the server. Had to ask for water refills. Do servers just take your order and deliver the food now?

Went back for a meal a few months after our last visit. Had the pollo pizza as well as the arancini and the bruschetta and all were delicious. Was a bit disappointed as the menu had seen some changes and there was noticeably less selection than our previous visit. Favourites such as the broccolini, bao buns, braised duck as well as others were no longer available. A standout point was the lack of vegetable options, particularly in the appetizers. Cocktails were delicious and fun as always. An enjoyable visit all things considered but the menu was missing the “eclectic/curious” flair we had loved before.

Sorry - thought this would be a fun, casual dining experience and a step away from the higher end restaurants we had dined at over the previous week. I'm always willing to note that my own experience was a “one off”, but this really wasn't great. The pizza itself was good and interesting, but the appetizers and other menu items were pedestrian. In other words, not great. The wine selection, as well, is minimal. Our server had just started, so was understandably unfamiliar with any of the items on the menu. That's not ok, though, and doesn't speak well to the training he received from the restaurant. Service was slow - “they were busy”, though there was only one other table occupied when we arrived. It was also quite a symphony of noise as chairs grated across the floor and with the music just a little too loud. lI don't mean to harp or sound too picky, because I'm generally not for a meal like this, but I really don't think we will be coming back.

If you like stone oven pizza, this is the place to be, their pizza is great and fairly priced. The crust is my favourite! The drinks are on the pricey side but that seems to be the norm for most restaurants. Great casual, fun atmosphere with tasty food, I highly recommend going here!

Great food, great service and great location. Need I say more. Was not sure how to rate the noise level. We were a group of six and enjoyed the fact that we could actually visit and not have to yell at each other. ??

Went with group of friends. Service was just OK..The server never came back to see if we wanted anything else. Didn't offer to get us another beer. It was very quiet in terms of the amount of people there so it wasn't overly busy. Pizza was good, no issues there but the beer choices were lacking. There was only 1 pale ale choice, no ales, a handful of lagers and pilsners and maybe 2 IPA's. It used to be that the Curious had an amazing choice of beers so super disappointed this wasn't the case anymore. We likely won't return. Definitely better choices in town for both pizza and beer.
