My experience at this restaurant was horrible!!and even that is an understatement. First off when I made the reservation I indicated it was my husband's Birthday. When we got there we were given a table in the walk way where everybody was passing by. The menu was so limited, most of what was on the menu on the website was not on the menu in the restaurant. My husband ordered a chicken piccata which was awful!! Chicken was dry and burnt. No taste whatsoever. I ordered from the sides and order garlic prawns, fries and grill chicken, fries were cold, chicken dry and I sure garlic prawns supposed to have garlic. The food was subpar and downright horrible. The service! Poor doesn't begin to describe it!! My husband and I were the only coloured customer in the restaurant and let me say this. If Bernie's and its staffs don't want black people in there establishment, they need to say so explicitly because we are spending money too. From the food was place on the table, nobody came back to ask how it was or if we needed anything else. Yet I saw 3 different waitresses attending to the above us multiple times and the table across from us. As we were leaving, the females at the table across from us were looking at us as if we had horns. I would never go back to this place if it was for free and I would not recommend it to anyone especially if u are black. It was my husband's birthday and it was a horrible experience

Another awesome evening at Bernie's is in the books! Excellent food and relaxed, professional service that provided a great experience. Our server allowed us time to visit and catch up with our friends without being rushed to order.

the environment was fun but a bit loud. large space so that tends to happen. the decor was great with a huge chandelier and amazing movie posters on the walls, but we didn't come to Bernie's for that... we came for the food and we were not disappointed! 2 cocktails, 2 appies and 3 main dishes later, we were full and so satisfied. The food and drinks were impeccable and decent portions sizes, so happy about that. Our bill for 2 came to about $200 with tip

We really enjoyed our visit to Bernies. everything was very nice especially our server Chloe. She was the highlight! We were seated by the stairs and windows and the atmosphere is a little lacking there...my own fault for not asking for a more inclusive table. Jorin Wolf

I had a very relaxing time at Bernies. The restaurant was beautiful. It was too dark where I was sitting at the back but it was overall a very nice night. I had gone for the Ahi tuna and scallop oshi. Food was amazing. Staff were all so nice and friendly. I remember Yana who was so kind to take such great pictures of me at the restaurant. She was lovely. It was a tad bit more expensive but I couldn't have find a better place to have seafood on downtown kelowna. It was a perfect night

We had a very nice meal. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We did not have to wait long for our food. We asked for dessert (lemon tart and raspberry sorbet - which was delicious) and coffee. Two servers brought both at the same time 😊 The ambience of the restaurant was lovely. We are very glad we chose Bernie's!

This is only the second time we have had dinner at Bernie's, Both times have been excellent, from the time we walked in the door until we left. We love sitting at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail (Griffin and Erich are very friendly and accommodating) while waiting for our table. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable but a place where you can dress for a fine night out. Kenya our server was attentive and pleasant and the service was timely and efficient. We would recommend this dining experience to anyone who cares to attend, reservations for dinner are recommended.

Really good food. Wonderful staff and excellent service in a delightfully different environment. Highly recommend this restaurant.

It was our first time at Bernie's. the atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted with such warmth when we arrived. Our server was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. The food, well all I can say is the best. The appetizers were to die for. The main course for each of us was beyond our expectations. Absolutely devine and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend Bernie's if you're looking for that special place to dine.

Dinner and service were excellent however we took in the movie above the theater after dinner and the volume was MUCH TOO LOUD and I heard complaints around me from others. The theatre is not large enough to support the volume. Private note to Bernies would be the same
