Best gluten free bakery in Kelowna and all of B.C. We ordered a gluten free chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for a family members birthday and it was the best cake we have ever had! The cake and frosting was so rich it was phenomenal! The owner Casey was so helpful she made the process of ordering the cake fun and easy. I am so grateful for her help in making this birthday really special and stress free as I didn’t have to spend days up to the party preparing and baking a cake. Also when I picked up the cake I tried one of the vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting and it to was perfect the taste and texture was amazing. I will definitely be going back for cupcakes and cakes! I’m obsessed!

I've worked with Casey and her team for client weddings and events and also ordered some goodies for my recent birthday party, knowing I had guests who are vegan and/or dietary requirements or allergies. Casey and team are incredibly talented at creating the most beautiful and delicious treats and many of my bday party guests couldn't believe there was no dairy, nuts, gluten etc! Since my first taste I've been a huge fan and will continue to tell anyone who'll listen how yummy everything is!

Excellent chocolate chip cookie. Nice texture with a good balance of chocolate. I dislike chocolate chip cookies overloaded with chocolate. That's what chocolate bars are for. Not overly sweet. Would be complemented well by a nice glass of cold milk. Large enough that I was satisfied, but afterwards wished I had purchased another. Perhaps a tad pricey, but quality deserves to be paid for. Having relocated from Vancouver, I'm still searching for a go-to cookie stop. Big Fat Lion pounces to the head of the list. Must try the chocolate chip with oats sometime soon.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this bakery. I have celiac disease and I’ve always felt safe there as they are an allergen friendly bakery. Even my friend with a severe peanut allergy was safe to eat there.
I’ve been many times and everything I’ve ever gotten is phenomenal.
The owner is a legend and so lovely and everyone I’ve ever interacted with there has made me feel right at home and excited to come back.

This is a very small bakery, the only offer sweet treats and bags of flour mixes. None of the treats were labeled and I felt bad for the poor staff person having to list them all off. I purchased 3 cookies at $4.75 each. The regular chocolate chip, the lavender sugar cookie, and the earl grey sugar cookie. The only one worth eating was the regular chocolate chip cookie, it had a nice crumb, decent flavour, could have used more chips but a solid 3.5/5. The other two were gross. They were dry, kind of doughy in texture. They were not sweet enough to be called a sugar cookie, and they were too cakey to be called a shortbread. The texture was so strange I regretted buying them. Perhaps these cookies should have been labeled as "low sugar" or "experimental"? There are so many tasty gluten free vegan bakeries out there, BFL needs to up their game because 1/3 is not a good success rate.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem! The cupcakes are absolutely delightful perfectly moist and packed with flavour. The cookies and bars are equally fantastic, with just the right amount of sweetness and a perfect texture. Everything tastes so fresh and made with care. If you’re in the mood for some seriously delicious treats, this place is a must visit!
We got the most delicious cupcakes from BFL bakery, my wife is gluten and dairy free but I’m not and the quality of the cupcakes left me wondering how they could make these cupcakes so damn good!!!! They made it so easy to order and extremely friendly. The are a lot of combination of flavors it was hard to pick but my wife’s favorite was chocolate lavender. I’m not gf and I find most gf foods to be granular or at least you know it’s gf, I would go back in a heartbeat as they are so good, I don’t care if they’re gf, way too tasty to overlook!!!

Decided to stop by from the high star ratings on Google. Was quite disappointed in the limited selection and price. Although incredibly sweet, our favorite item was the fudge oatbar. The other items we tried were medicore. They had no cutlery and offered one paper towel for 4 of us. I wouldn't go back.

Nanaimo bars are amazing! If you are lucky and they have the coffee naniamo bars you HAVE to try them, they are possibly the best dessert I have ever had!
