Great summer destination. Dog friendly patios and where able to take our ? up the chairlift. They stopped the chair both for loading and offloading. We hiked the 4.5 km trail back down.

We drove for 1 hour just to go On Gandola, Big White Scenic Chair (Bullet Express) , first we went there and they said we can book ticket Online or either go into thier Ticket Centre. We did book our tickets at 4:17 pm and they let us buy that Online for the Same day, whenwe showed them they said we will have to go back to ticket centre to do all paperwork, that we already did online. We even mentioned that we are not doing Hiking or Biking, we just need Gandola ride thats all. They still send us there in thier office we even talked to them before we go there, she printed everything and we did all signatures and everything. then she mentioned if you guys are not doing Biking we cannot Let you go on that. Eventhough we told them that we already Paid for 2 tickets at 4:17pm on 23rd July,2023 then we requested them if they can help us Cancel and issue us refund. They just just send an email to them. Overall, this is the worst experience, we paid for it did not get any ride! Will never come Back!Worst Experience, We don't even want to give 1 star

We went there in July. It was really beautiful - save for the regular hailstorms and thunder on the way up and down (which I thought was pretty amazing). Very quiet, not many people, very beautiful. Most places didn't seem open on the Sunday we were there.

Buy your tickets online if you are an early riser, ticket office at open is busy. QR code day pass pick up works good.Be aware of horse flys, asain beetles that bite (looks like lady bugs) and mosquitoes at the sumit. Worth a hike to the top. Being chomped on by some bugs was a new experance at big white for me, still highly recommend the summit any time of year.

We’ve been coming here for years!!! This was our first time as a family. We had an absolute blast. From start to finish - this is such a great place to visit!! There was even an amazing wine shop we visited. We love Big White and will be back again for sure. Great memories created here!

March Madness.Blue bird baby!Crazy beautiful.Wish we'd had more time.So much hill to explore. You could easily spend three days just searching out two or three lines to spend another two or three days enjoying.Buy a house on the hill and make it a permanent part of your lifestyle, then invite me over. ?Telus Park is choice for the fact that it has a dedicated chairlift. So many hills make you work to get back to the freestyle terrain, but not Big White; it's on point. If only they had a top of the mountain to bottom meandering line full of rails, hips and kickers.Super family friendly.Like, shake your kids and then catch up later. ?The day lodge areas are well thought out.Filtered Water on tap with cups, insta-hot water tap for noodles. It's not champagne powder country, it's deep powder pack country, especially in the spring. It's not even a question, it's beyond worth it.

Possibly the best family resort around, at least the best I’ve been to in the past 35 years of skiing. Let me explain. The village and all accommodations are in the ski hill, access is always a quick walk or slide away. At 5700 feet elevation for the village the snow is excellent, and light, the words champagne powder are often used to describe powered days and with an average snowfall of 750 calm, there’s usually plenty of it. The terrain is fantastic for almost every skier and snowboarder. We were so impressed when we came up a couple of years ago we actually bought a place up here and even the kids prefer it to the resorts closer to Vancouver. When you’re not on the hill there’s great restaurants a fantastic laidback vibe. There’s tubing, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling all on the hill. There’s a ton to do in general. It’s also 45 minute from the Kelowna international airport, and the city itself and about a million wineries. There’s even mountain biking in the summer which is fantastic and getting better every season. I highly recommend it if your looking for a ski or bike getaway.

New fav hill. Huge mix of terrain for every skill level and lots of lifts - easy to get around. A ton of restaurants and stores and easy to tour the village.

BEWARE!!! Big White Ski Resort had good skiing runs and lifts. However, everyone in the resort (including CENTRAL RESERVATIONS) knew about Air Canada Airlines continual missing luggage problem, thus, in our opinion, taking advantage on rentals and ski equipment fees (2 and 3 times the regular prices). Central Reservation brushed it off as the fault of the airline, never DISCLOSING the luggage problem when booking. Air Canada took 2 1/2 days to provide our lost ski boot bag that they left on the tar mat because the plane storage was full. Air Canada uses a small plane to go from Vancouver to Kelowna. At the time, there were 106 missing pieces of luggage. We were forced to rent ski equipment from Big White. Of the entire Big White vacation experience, the ski rental department was the rudest, unhelpful, egotistical, and arrogating process ever from the management to the staff. To add insult to injury, Central Reservations did not deliver my lost bag to my hotel, I had to walk to Central Reservations to pick it up. Until the airlines, Big White Resort, and Central Reservations fix the problem of "LOST LUGGAGE," we will "NEVER" go back again.

Recently returned from our third trip for our family of 8 to Big White. 2018, 2019 and now 2023.The resort is the perfect spot for a Family ski trip. First of all the snow is 2nd to none, we had measurable snow on three of the seven days that we were there. Ski school was fabulous for our kids, they had a great time and improved dramatically. The ski -in/ski out nature of the resort is so convenient. We like being closer to the village centre, but you can make it work from just about anywhere.Food and drink is varied enough & the market has all of the provisions we needed to make a few meals at our condo. The whole family is asking when we can go back.

The best ski resort for families. Awesome ski school for kids. Small unintimidating village for little ones to run around. Great terrain with lots of tree skiing. Something for everyone of all abilities. The only negatives are it lacks on hill dining options, except for the restaurants in the village. A chalet mid- mountain or at the top with food of substance would be awesome. Even the Happy Valley Lodge and Gem Lake Lodge don't have anything more than burgers or chicken fingers and fries. Can't wait to go back again next year!!!!

Big White is once again focussing on customer service (after the restrictive Covid years). The free on-hill shuttle is back and driver Tommy gives the best service.

Had a great time ice skating and watching the fireworks. They have a children's carnival that has free cotton candy, popcorn, and all sorts of games with prizes to win. Great for families with young children. New gondolas are beautiful. Our family isn't into skiing or snowboarding and there are lots of activities and fun to be had. Free parking. Highly recommend!

Skiing was fantastic, with lots of intermediate runs (the kind we like) and well groomed trails. We stayed at the White Crystal Inn, an older but well maintained and very centrally located resort. Normally I view a gas fireplace as decorative. It took a while to realize that it was the main source of heat for the room.Food was available from several restaurants, both for eat-in and take out. You can also buy from the little grocery store on-site. Town is an hour's drive away.
