Ate a Black Diamond last night.One of many times this season. Ordered the Tuna Tataki which I have had many times and really enjoy I. Came out drenched in sauce which I requested to be remade. They brought the same plate with the mayo scraped off and said "I hope this is good enough". The mayo was still there but also the tuna was not good. I had one bite and asked the server to take it away. When the bill came, the owner refused to take it off the bill, saying that he had tasted it and it was fine. But he would split the price with me. Another member of staff also said he tasted it and it was terrible.Given that the owner and staff both acknowledged they ate it off my plate after I sent it back, they actually ate more than I did. Will not be back.

DO NOT EAT HERE… food was terrible place couldn’t make a half decent burger if you payed them the 30+ dollars they want for the trash they serve…..Drinks were made wrong and took almost a hour to get foodManger is biggest loser I’ve ever had the chance to meet … buddy needs to look in the mirror and give his head a shake .. acted all tough then ran away when we weren’t happy with one of the meals …Told us they don’t allow making changes to toppings on bugers … even know all toppings were the same we just wanted to take off the pickled onions ….Some one needs to address the manger as he put his hand on the shoulder and said we don’t make changes to the menu and told us to not come back over trying to change the toppings WHAT A JOKE!

Would not recommend at all!!The appetizer was ok… very small portions but nonetheless it was still good.My husband order the prim rib as it was their special.It was horrible!We told the server right away and with no hesitation she said “ well you’re still eating it” and left.We complained again to her and still no manager or owner in site.When we asked for our bill, still no manager or owner in site and we had nothing done to our bill!We then told the server we would like to speak to Someone higher up..The owner came over and had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NICE TO SAY!He in quotation said “ Don’t come back as we don’t care “WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

This was the worst food I have had in ages. Over 40$ for a prime rib that's was prob 6 oz after the fat. The yorkie was the size of a softball and completely hollow. The owner told me that's how it is and never to return to his restaurant as I was unhappy.Zero customer service and the owner was the most rude person I have EVER had.Do not waste your money here.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch today sitting by the window looking out over the village. Jordan and Spencer were very efficient servers and the food was delicious. I had the seafood chowder and my husband the Ruben both were great. We would visit again.

For the price, this restaurant is cramped and underwhelming. Service was fine, our waitress was nice. But our food was very bland, bean burger and peppercorn burgers had no seasoning.

Black Diamond is our go to place when looking for a superior dining experience at Big White Ski Resort. Best burger and exquisite chowder.Dietary restrictions: The kitchen boasts a designated Gluten Free work area. The owners genuinely care.

Food was great drinks were good too. Food took a while but we didn’t mind. But the service was just terrible. The server dumped the food on our table and ran away. We all had empty drinks but were never offered a refill. We didn’t see our server back until everyone was done and we were overly waiting for our bill. I was really looking forward to pair a glass of wine with my meal but that was never an option since the server never came back. Did not quality check our food and finally brought us the bill and didn’t clear our table. We walked away with empty plates all over the table. Very disappointing experience, for the price you’d think the experience and service would be better.

My family and I went last night for dinner. We enjoyed the food, it was great since we don’t really eat out that much. Trying new food is always nice.What I did not like is the service that’s why i only gave 3 stars. We felt like the our service did not care at all. I ordered a steak and did not bother to give me steak knife then the other server Lina gave a steak knife cuz she saw me struggiling with my steak. Also, we kept asking different server because our server never check on us.I would reccommend the food but not the service :)

Cramped seating, server is good, manager has the strangest way of dealing with an food issue. I've worked in many restaurants as a cook, so I am familiar with the way things usually work. I ordered a beef burger, food wait times were abit long, but whatever. The food arrives, I have a OCD thing about cutting my burgers in half cause they ate easier to eat this way. But this time I noticed the beef had some pink in the middle. I mention this to my server, she takes it away only to return with this. The kitchen and manager temp'd the burger and its cooked so there is nothing wrong with it. And that they won't take it off the bill or discount my meal at all. So I had to pay for it. I didn't want it. This manger doesn't know how to manage, never came out to talk to me about it. Made the server do it. Apparently to this manager never discounts or helps the customer out when the restaurant has a short coming.I will not be returning, and I will tell others about my experience here.

Don't waste your time at this eatery! This establishment is not a restaurant but a complete scam! The restaurant owners cook garbage food and want to take all your money! If you don't give them all your money, they will call you idiots and kick you out! This establishment is a disgrace to the ski resort.

We went for dinner here while staying at Big White. We really enjoyed our meals. Our waitress Nina was really good and attentive. Overall, the service was exceptional, and we will definitely come back next time.
