The sushi was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, they didn't have the plain salmon don on the menu but they willingly made for my kid! That was a great experience!

We visited this sushi restaurant today and ordered sushi. We were pleasantly surprised that they provided a special kids’ plate, cutlery, and cup for our children, which made us happy. However, when we asked to move to a quieter table in the corner (before our food had even arrived), the server refused, saying it was not possible because it was the weekend.

We ended up leaving about an hour before closing time, and during that period no new customers came in; in fact, 4–5 tables were vacated. Despite asking twice, the server’s attitude remained strict and unfriendly, which left us disappointed.

Because of this, I am giving 1 star for the service and 3 stars for the food.

This is the first time I've ordered poke bowl at Bluetail. I didn't expect it would be this much for only $16!! It was so tasty and balanced!

Only ordered their yam+avocado rolls but they were tasty!! And warm!!! I love them warm, and fresh and with a good quality soy sauce which this place has! I got take out but the vibe inside picking it up seemed very nice!

Amazing food! You can tell they make everything fresh, the rolls were delicious. The chicken teriyaki was cooked perfectly and not over sauced or greasy. The atmosphere inside is great and the booths and tables and roomy.

One of the few Japanese restaurants open late, we arrived hungry and quickly ordered food, to our relief there was no long wait. Decided to splurge on the lobster roll and bluetail tempura. The crispy rice tuna roll was unique, although the belly dance roll was less so (the pork belly and salmon flavour got lost). Service was attentive and deserves five stars.

What a great sushi place! The food was well prepared and the service was above and beyond. The brussel sprouts I highly recommend. The atmosphere was cozy and from the outside you would expect it.
