Cocktail bar at a craft beer dominated area! ! Fantastic much needed hidden gem for now ! Cozy-intimate setting ! Classy! and Fabulous ! But absolutely love this place - they take cocktails seriously - team makes their own bitters- dare to say it ;) best expresso martini in the city - real expresso called Carajillo !!! Service is on point clean hygienic to my OCD standard tweezers for condiments !! Food is fun new and tasty tapas like menu !!! Just love love love !!! Don’t leave a lot of reviews but highly recommended for excellence !

Born to shake is owned and operated by a couple of the coolest cats. Shayne is a cocktail wizard. He comes up with some of the tastiest beverages that know how to set the vibes right for the night. Nicole is kindest person you’ve ever met and will greet you at the door with her fresh bouquet of flowers that she grew in her own garden! It’s a damn fairytale of a cocktail bar. Great food, great people, great atmosphere and the best drinks in town.

A hidden gem. The drinks and food are great. It seems there is a different drink menu each night. The tapas is exquisite. Staff are attentive. Music was a little loud if you are there with friends and hoping for a chinwag.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owners and staff are all incredible - so personable and amazing at what they do. The drinks they create are done with care and attention to detail and so artistic with incredible flavour profiles. They created a drink for our wedding last year which was a huge hit and we recently hit up their tropical Thursday which was a real treat. Such a niche spot in Kelowna. Whether you’re local or just visiting - check them out!

On the outskirts of downtown, the location itself allows you to slow down, to enjoy the moment while sipping a great cocktail. The owners are truly incredible - a couple of young entrepreneurs just trying to make the dream happen.
To be honest, my partner and I go typically every Sunday. We love it there. I would say tell all your friends, and get all your friends to tell their friends about born to shake. But I'm really nervous about losing my favorite spot at the bar. If you read this review, and it encourages you to support this local spot for all your cocktail needs (they sell retail too!) please save me a spot on the curved end of the downstairs bar!
