We had a very disappointing experience at the Boston Pizza on 545 Harvey Ave, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 6C7. We came as a family group of 15, and the staff immediately told us we’d be charged an automatic 18% gratuity simply because our group was over 10 people. We kindly explained that we were happy to split into smaller groups of five and sit at different tables throughout the restaurant to avoid the automatic charge, but they were completely unwilling to work with us.
Instead of showing understanding or flexibility, the staff were dismissive and rude. The two girls at the front — one with bleach blonde hair and the other a brunette — made us feel uncomfortable with their attitude and unfriendly behavior. Their looks and tone made it clear we weren’t welcome, even though we approached the situation respectfully.
We ended up leaving without dining there. It’s unfortunate to be treated so poorly just for coming in as a family. We won’t be going back.

We came in as a family group of 15 and were immediately told we had to pay an extra 18% gratuity just because we were more than 10 people. We politely explained that we were willing to split into smaller groups of 5 and sit anywhere in the restaurant just to avoid the automatic charge, but the staff didn’t care. They were extremely rude about it and made us feel like we weren’t welcome at all.
The two girls at the front — one bleach blonde and one brunette — were especially unprofessional. They gave us dirty looks, acted like we were a problem, and showed clear disrespect even though we approached them calmly and reasonably. Their attitude alone was enough to make us walk out. It’s disappointing to be treated like a burden just for trying to eat out with family. Definitely won’t be returning.

If there was a zero I was gonna do a zero, so I went in with three family groups separated and two welcome girls one of them she has white hair and the other one kinda chubby they were sooo mean to us telling us we have to pay 20% to just because we went in as a group and they were sooo mean to us why would we pay to this customer service like that. Also, I got really disappointed when she was talking to me in a rude way telling me to pay before I eat their food like whattt if the customer service was good I would love to pay but it was trash and it was our first time in Kelowna exploring things to coem back here again but I wasn’t happy at alll from the two girls they were talking behind our back to a guy too I am really sad.

I'm not much for writing reviews. Though this experience left me quite disappointed. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how cold it was. Enough to have me shy away from ordering a drink. We ordered two Mac and cheese, some garlic parm fries and a Cajun chicken wrap. I don't necessarily hold the time the food took against them. I understand it was late (11:30pm). It did take awhile. The food when it arrived was incorrect and not good. The Cajun chicken wrap was made with regular chicken. Both the Mac and cheese were soupy. Almost seems like it needs to be served with a spoon.
When it came to settle up the bill our server had said there would be compensation for the chicken wrap being the wrong item. She took $3 off the bill. I presume that's the cost difference for Cajun chicken and regular chicken. Either way very unimpressed I was really hoping for more compensation.

Got take out last night and it was awful. Food was greasy, garlic parm fries didn't have any garlic and service was terrible. Complained through the website and management responded disregarding all my concerns and basically justifying the terrible service. Won't be back.

Worst service ever .seated by manager 20 min to get a server to take our order only after asking who our server was as they walked past us .took drink and food order for 3 people brought the drinks then 15 min later manager bring 2 food orders then dissappears for 10 min comes back and asks if we had a 3rd order of food only yo find out the original server didn't put it in .took 3 min to get the 3rd pasta order then needed to leave so got to go boxes and bill .5 dollar discount for the terrible service and forgotten meal .had waited 45 min to get food no apologies from anyone .$75 for 3 pasta dishes and 2 soda drinks with the 5$ discount horrible prices and even worse service

Extremely dry. 2 out of 3 kids meals were dry and cost almost $60 after delivery for a birthday get together. No sauce on kids burger and barely any on the pizza. Doesn't seem right to have to pay an extra $4 to get sauce that should come on the pizza or scramble to find regular burger sauce like ketchup etc. Because your almost $60 order didn't come with it. Literally had to go out to buy sauce for a delivery that was dry. When you order out, you don't expect to go out because nobody can swallow the dryness
Ordered a bunch of food for game day directly off the website. Took them well over an hour and a half, which is fine however everything showing up stone cold and No dips included when there should have been 5 total. Called the restaurant and the woman who answered does not know anything about customer service, clearly. The delivery driver then returned with the dips & had a Major attitude, wish I could take back my tip. What a joke of a restaurant.

Went in to watch the NHL playoffs last night, specified this to hostess before I sat down. Tied 2-2 after the 1st period they change all main visible TVs to a UFC fight and refuse to keep the playoffs hockey game on any of the bigger screens, after I specified I was there to watch hockey before being seated. Some people were pi$$ed. I just settled and left.
