I couldn’t believe the response from the owner of this restaurant to a customer review. So rude and condescending. A better response would be to apologize first for the rudeness of their waiter and then to explain that what they called oil was in fact butter. This restaurant used to be very good when it first opened but over the years has gone downhill in my estimation. We don’t frequent this restaurant anymore.

We’re celebrating our anniversary; we brought our own bottle of red wine for a $40 corkage fee.Hubby had the 3-course with Onion soup, duck breast and lemon tart. I had fresh oysters, rack of lamb, a flight of the fortified wine.
The service, the ambiance, the food are what you expect as standard dining. Attentive with perfectly executed plate, you would leave with satisfaction! Thank you for the experience!

Such a great spot for authentic French food in Kelowna! Everything we tried was full of flavour and perfectly done. The interior has a charming, authentic French feel — it really adds to the whole experience. The place had a nice, relaxed vibe — busy but in a really good way. The service was excellent, and the host made us feel so welcome. We had a great time!

My birthday meal was excellent. The patio was delightful. We had the set menu. The salmon and duck were both excellent and the quiche was the best I have had - light and pastry free. Loved the 3 mini servings of dessert too. An alternate milk option for my coffee would have been appreciated.

We ordered red wine, escargot, beef tartare, and the surf & turf with beef tenderloin. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The escargot arrived in edible cups instead of shells, and they were drowned in oil, which took away from the flavor. The restaurant tries to present itself as authentically French, but it feels more pretentious than genuine.
Our server, who had such a heavy French accent that it was difficult to understand him, was also dismissive and rude. When we asked about the three-course option, he simply pointed to the board with an attitude and told us to “read it,” rather than explaining the specials. I have French colleagues who are easier to understand and more welcoming.
Given the food quality and the service, I honestly don’t understand the consistently high ratings this place receives. There are far better dining options in Kelowna.

My husband, I and Pamplemousse absolutely love this gem of a Bistro. We appreciate the classic ambience, beautiful food and wine options... The specials are always amazing. We especially adore the chic owners who take pride in their beautiful establishment. They exude warmth and hospitality. We visit kelowna 6 to 8 times a year and Bouchons is our first meal upon arrival and our Au revoir to kelowna until the next visit. We have travelled extensively. My Husband is half French. We will always count this as one of our favourite experiences.

First off I'm the spouse of Tamara , we did greet you and gave farewells , thanked you for a lovely dinner as always , and you responded with , pure lack of class , and unbecoming of a fine dining restauranter ! Shame on you , give your head a shake , the meal got contaminated , cross or sitting out too long , but apparently if we spent more money you get better food quality and service?? You are truly an awful person , you conduct yourself as petty and ignorant sir Very sad !
Booked reservations for my spouses birthday and specifically mentioned this in the reservations. They didnt even say happy birthday, We have been coming here for 6 years, ordered our usual and unfortunately ended up with food poisoning. Won't be back.

This delightful bistro was very near out hotel, and right next to Waterfront Wines. This was my favorite dinner of our trip: classic French fare, lovely outdoor seating, and excellent service from a very funny waitress.
Also great were the traditional Escargot served in crisply little edible cups, and the Seafood Vol au Vent. Very French.

Tucked away in a corner of Kelowna is a tiny piece of perfect Paris. From the minute you arrive, the smells, the music, the French speaking staff, you are transported to all that is good about Paris and French cuisine. We started with Escargot and Foirs Gras, followed by amazing Rabbit and Sable Fish. Every dish melted in your mouth, complemented by wonderful service. If you find yourself in Kelowna, then make it your mission to eat at Bouchons. We hope to return one day.

Absolutely amazing ❤️ My husband and I went to Bouchons Bistro to celebrate my 61st and couldn't have made a better choice. I have a garlic allergy, so eating out is always a risk, but we contacted the restaurant prior to going and let them know. I was made well aware of what dishes were garlic free. I settled on the Seafood Vol au Vent, and my husband had the Crevettes et Noix de Saint Jacques. They were delicious. For dessert, I had Crème Brûlée and my husband had the Fondant au Chocolat. We each had one drink and no appetizer.
We definitely will be coming back to try other dishes ❤️
