My partner and I had dinner here tonight and we were amazed by the quality of food and service here. I had the lapin, my partner had the rack of lamb, crème brûlée and we both had the escargot. The lapin- the meat was juicy and the sauce was very tasty , creamy - but not too heavy, it was just right. Rack of lamb- my partner said it was cooked to perfection as he had it medium rare and couldn’t be any happier with how it tasted. Escargot - I mean , it is a French restaurant after all , one has to have this for appetizer ! This was 5/5 for both of us. Crème brûlée - my partner said it was tres bonne !
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are a lover of French cuisine and excellent service.

I came here with my date looking for an exceptional fine dining experience. Unfortunately our server was very slow and took at-least 20 mins to take our initial drink order. About 25 minutes later we finally had an opportunity to put in our food order. We had the seared foie gras and this was very delicious and I would recommend this dish. We asked for some bread to dip in the foie gras sauce and were given a very cold loaf of bread and no butter.
For our mains we ordered Salmon Blanquette and the Filet Mignon.
As described on the menu… “A Classic from Normandy Atlantic Salmon Blanquette, served with Basmati rice, carrots, leeks, mushrooms and peas.”
We received a dish that had pasta noodles and salmon with no vegetables. While the salmon was good itself the waiter made no effort to inform us the kitchen ran out of rice and delivered a dish that was absolutely nothing like the description which was a disappointment for my date as she was looking forward to the dish she had actually ordered. When asked if this was the correct dish they let us know they would bring a seperate dish of vegetables. They never asked us if we would like a different dish.
Filet Mignon was good and would recommend.
Cocktails we had were The French Blonde and a manhattan. The French Blonde was good, the manhattan was mediocre and I have a feeling it was made with white vermouth instead of red vermouth as the colour and taste was not what I’d expect from a classic such as a manhattan cocktail.
Overall service was very poor and not what you would expect for an expensive fine dining experience. We received a measly $20 discount and a glass of champagne. For a $200 dinner for two (after the discount,) the service was awful and they should have completely removed the salmon dish from our bill.

A warm and inviting place — it truly feels like a Parisian bistro. The service is excellent, and so is the food. We started with oysters with kiwi sauce then seared foie gras, followed by escargots and beef tartare, and finished with profiteroles. Just incredible! Merci Béatrice et Stéphane !

This was our first visit to Bouchons and it was to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The warm hospitality from Beatrice & Stephane, the ambience and the cuisine made for a truly memorable experience. It really is a little piece of Paris in the heart of Kelowna!

I purchased a gift card to celebrate my dear friend's wedding and chose this restaurant based on its excellent reviews. However, I was deeply disappointed and saddened to hear that their experience was far from enjoyable.
It is truly puzzling that such a well-known restaurant in Kelowna failed to meet even the most basic standards. Mistakes kept piling up - taking 20 minutes to come take their orders, they got several orders wrong repeatedly, and overcooked the lamb to well-done despite the request for medium-rare. These missteps ultimately led to what my friend described as their worst dining experience.
Seems like they were told that a language barrier prevented proper communication with the kitchen. However, this is an internal issue that the restaurant needs to address and should never affect the customers' experience.
I am extremely disappointed and regret purchasing the gift card. I don't recommend this restaurant.

We went to celebrate our wedding with a special dinner, but unfortunately, there were several issues with the meals. Three of the dishes were wrong: the salad was different, the spaghetti was a different size, and it wasn’t the kind we had ordered. To make matters worse, the owner came by and told us the spaghetti we had just finished eating wasn’t what we had ordered. The server was very professional and tried to handle the situation, but I ended up not eating anything other than the salad during my celebration dinner. The restaurant did adjust the bill for the incorrect meals, but at that point, it wasn’t about the money. We came there to celebrate, and the experience was far from what we had hoped for. All the meals tasted very off….it was pretty obvious that they had issues in their kitchen. Very unfortunate and disappointing. Never go back again.

Beautiful spot with great food in the heart of Kelowna! Two of us had the 3-course menu of the day, and the others had cassoulet and rabbit. All the dishes were excellent! The service was warm, elegant and considerate. Relaxing music and an elegant atmosphere made for a perfect evening out! We'll be back!

My fiancé and I have wanted to try this place out for quite sometime. It was well worth the wait. The charcuterie board was elegant and delicious, the mains were perfect. Best steak I’ve had in Kelowna, hands down. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere warm and inviting. Was a great experience, and definitely a must try in the Okanagan region!

Wow! Amazing food. Went here for date night after dance class (UBCO has $10 dance class on Sundays!). We were blown away. The flavours are subtle but so amazing in a way that I don’t think I’ve ever experienced. My fiancee had an amazing seafood pie which was so creamy. I had this lovely creamy pasta. The dessert was a showstopper. I had been searching for crème brûlée in Kelowna and this is the best. The flavour was so complex and wonderful! Highly recommend.
