It's overpriced but very nice being able to get things in bulk. I get my Christmas chocolate there every year😊
Experienced terrible customer service from Louie today. She was bad mouthing a coworker as I was shopping close to the till, which in itself is highly unprofessional. Her demeanour was snarky and rude. Perhaps she should not be the face of your business while rolling her eyes at customers.
Out of 2 items I needed. Nice and helpful staff.
Great store. I love going however I never can make it in time due to location and hours. Unfortunately it's in a lot that isn't easily accessible. No left turn off Burtch Rd. Coming north off the highway is one of the scariest intersections in Kelowna. I always loop around the block. And in general I think whoever decided to place the store here was trying to be accessible to all of Kelowna however its far for every major hub of the city. I think Rutland would be a great area. Or Glenmore. Just a pain in the butt to make it here sometimes.
Was just in there to buy peanut butter, but the container was empty! Asked an employee if there was some in the back and was told no. Their natural peanut butter is delicious. Went through the till and asked when the peanut butter would come in and she said……I think there is some in the back. They brought it out so saved me a trip back to the store. Thank you so much for going above and beyond, the gal had a Australian accent!
They had everything I needed to fill the staples in my pantry. Reasonable prices and great staff, too!
An amazing store. Has every thing you need
Always stocked with great stuff.
When you call or come in and ask about something, the staff actually helps. So thanks!!!!!!That's kind. Other places the staff looks at you like have 5 eyes and ?.
Pleasantly surprised at how many products they sell here. Definitely worth the time to check it out

I get the best value for my money on their products I purchase compared to anywhere else, particularly when I either combine discounted items with a coupon or regular priced items with the Sustainable Sundays discount with a coupon. I bring in my food scale and mason jars to weigh how much I need to be just above the threshold for their coupons to get the best value.Unfortunately, I had an inconvenient visit, which wasn’t typical, and is why I’m not going to rate Bulk Barn as being 5 stars, as much as I’d like to. I weighed 1,163 grams of discounted almonds to be just above the $20 threshold for a $5 off coupon. At checkout, my bill was unexpectedly $25.33. I figured I must have somehow accidentally miscalculated how much to purchase, so I brushed it off and paid for it regardless. When I looked over the receipt in my vehicle, I saw I was charged for 1,763 grams of almonds—600 grams more than I anticipated. I weighed them again; I had 1,163 grams. I went back into the store with my jars and receipts and told the cashier and manager what happened. The cashier said she may have made a mistake with the decimal point when she weighed it again. The manager eventually handed me $5.35. It wasn’t until I arrived home and looked over my receipts again that I realized I was still owed $5, so I returned and explained my situation to the manager; he gave me $5 more. I was charged about $10.33 more than what I should have been.I understand all of this was just a simple mistake and that something like this can happen to anybody. It won’t deter me from shopping here. I’d just advise anybody reading my review to weigh the products you’re purchasing yourself to ensure you’re getting what you paid for.
Would be nice if you’re going to close for an entire day for inventory if you would update on Facebook or Google or anything other than a piece of paper on the door. Just drove all the way across town to pick up something I needed only to have just wasted 22 minutes driving and another 22 minutes to get back home.
Owner was drunk driving and killed a toddler. Will not be coming back here again.
I really appreciate that the nice lady doing my groceries let me know it was Wed Senior’s day so I could get a discount!
I noticed a huge infestation of bugs the last few times I've been there. All over the floors, crawling along the counter and the tills. Does this mean they're also amongst the food? Gross!
