When I drove by and saw the burger/fries joint I told myself great! A real fries place with poutine! Let’s go for it! Ordered a Poutine with a burger. The burger was OK, the poutine though was a total let down. First, I don’t know what’s so difficult in offering real fries in BC, almost every restaurant uses frozen fries, of course it’s easier but kills the experience. Then the little cheese there was seemed to be shredded mozzarella! Poutine is made with cheddar cheese curds, lots of it, not dispersed bits of any other cheese… Disappointing!

I just want to go out of my way to say how wonderful this Rutland classic is. Despite the staff being young they are well spoken , polite and efficient. The food is always fantastic and the service is nothing short of amazing. Please keep this place just as it is , I wouldn’t change a thing!
Still as great as it was growing up in the 90's. I forgot how massive the large fries were, even for 3 people, we're going to need a takeaway box. Mushroom Swiss burgers and milkshakes to die for.

Came in with some friends less than an hour ago, bought a couple milkshakes and the Pomo burger - pretty good, especially at the price point! Unfortunately, forgot to tip, and the girl who took my order shot off a snarky comment about it as we were leaving.
Ironically, paid for the meal with my own gratuities, and have never been difficult with guests if my tipout is low for the week! Next time I'm in I'll be sure to hand a $10 past her to the guy who handed us our milkshakes politely instead lol

Once i ended up in there line up to order takeout, and when I went to order they said sorry were closed. Like now you have to wait for the person in front of you to pay and get his food so you can get out. Sunday july 6 it says open i get there 5 minutes before they say they were closing and the staff was walking out the back door. I guess they decided to close early. Lol
